Filing with Turbo Tax
I have been filing our yearly Income tax return using the Home & Business Package for several years. My career was in accounting and have been filing Hundred's of Income Taxes yearly, for many years. We also own a farm, have investments and rental buildings.
After doing my research for non-professional Income Tax packages after I sold my business, I have come to the conclusion that Turbo Tax was the best.. It's very user friendly especially for new users. I found it to be accurate and has a lot of error warnings, or maybe missed info or items reminders when reviewing your return. Being a seasoned user, I fill the forms directly, & I myself find it a bit cumbersome in not being able to jump from one area of the program to the other easily if I want to look at another part of the file. In some cases I need to re-open the file to get to the menu bar at the top. .It's a bit
annoying, but I still feel it's the best Tax program, It has all the forms needed for a small un-incorporate business, farm, rentals, investments, etc.. and I am confident that my return is accurate when I'm done.

Easy to Use

Overall excellent
Very easy to use. Only issue is when printing. I choose Print T1, then Print Return but it only printed the T1 twice. Had to save return, exit, then re-open to be able to print return.
Otherwise everything else was great!

Printing
A simple return resulted in 38 sheets of paper being printed in order for a copy to be retained for my client's records. Such a waste, with so many unnecessary blank sheets. Surely just sheets with relevant information need to be printed to show how the tax has been calculated.

Supported Platform not enough
If a Linux version can be provided and Windows 7 version can be continued, that will be much convenient for end users.
In this year, since it is not supported on Windows 7, a lot of end-user have to either quit using turbotax, or spend extra money to upgrade to Windows 10.

reliable software
I had a problem with the standard version as it said that I had already exceeded the number of returns allowed. But I had not submitted any at all. Intuit did solve the problem for me but I suspect there was a problem with the software. Only problem I have had.

Best Tax Software
I've been using TurboTax for years and recommend it to all my friends, family and business clients. It is accurate, thorough and easy to use. Every year they add features that make it even more economical and user-friendly. I'll never switch to another product.

Easy to use
Very easy to use, even with multiple rental and home businesses. Only downfall is I don't usually see the Turbo Tax 20 advertised but it is a good deal. Allows for the maximum number of returns (per CRA) without going into Pro version.

Great product
I've been using TurboTax for a number of years and have really liked it. however, this year I found a number of bugs. There was a problem with the T2125 and the identification section for the Quebec netfile had an error message that wasn't true. I also noticed that in the review, it tells us there is no value in box E when there is.
I've called tech support three or four times when I've never had to in the past umpteen years I have used their product. I would say the problems are mostly with the Quebec returns.

Easy to use
I help family to do simple returns and have used TurboTax (previously QuickTax) for a number of years. I love how easy the program is to use and how you can automatically upload your government Taxable forms from the CRA website so that you won't miss inputting any information (or at least, can act as a double check against the forms you do have).
The hints and tips at the end of the program are helpful as well.
