Have used for many years; Never been sorry.
I have used Turbo Tax, and the software that spawned it for so many years that I feel like part of the amazing team that develops such intricate and amazing software. I used to program systems in the distant past and even wrote programs to do tax returns when basic, Fortran, and Cobol were the only languages spoken. I was responsible for all accounting functions and leapt at the new technology of computers, writing many programs which I thought would make life easier for my co-workers but instead replaced them. I went from an office filled with the life of busy people to the emptiness of an office with a few people punching keys.
Still, I fondly remember Keypunch operators, clunky card readers, and card jams that made us start all over again.
Thank heaven it is all in the past. Turbo Tax has moved ahead of the pack, to try and make sense of the complexity of Canadian Tax Laws and ensure we pay only what is required by law. The important point is all the deductions, tax breaks, and "Loopholes" that are available are covered by Turbo Tax software. They keep ahead of all new legislation concerning possible changes that could give tax advantages , and conversely, pitfalls that make us pay more than we should.
To summarize, I love Quick Tax (old name) and Turbo Tax (new Company), as the best software to do my and all my friends returns .

Easy to use

Excellent product
Very good product but can be frustrating when you are experienced with it when questions are repeated.
For example, if you enter medical expenses and then decide to remove them because it is not optimal as a deduction, it keeps the original information and keeps asking questions based on the original entry.

save function
The program is easy to use when you know what information you need to have included. Most important aspect is to answer all the questions prior to entering information.
My recommend is to save your work often through the process. I had a couple of shut downs and needed to go back and re-enter. This was good practice for me but if you just want to get it done, it could be problematic. Hint: if it shuts down you have likely answered a question incorrectly in the intro portion about the area you are working on.
Hope this helps. I've used Turbo for several years and find it the best out there for ease of use.
