I love tax time
This program makes doing your taxes yourself so easy. I cannot imagine paying someone to do my taxes for me... plus it helps me find more money that the government owes me :)

Best Purchase for 20 years (Intuit)
I have used QuickTax for more than 10 years and I am very satisfied with this product.
I have always used the Easy Step to ensure accuracy.

Very Positive to Use

THE BEST CANADIAN TAX SOFTWARE
I have been using Quick tax for years. Now that the name have change to TurboTax I am still enjoying it. Do not buy any other tax software. TurboTax is second to none. It is easy to use and you will also get maximum refund. If this is your first time trying it don't worry because you have nothing to lose. TurboTax is simply the BEST in market.

so many glitches
I have used TurbTax for many years, even before it was Turbo Tax. This year there are so many glitches in it. There are things you can't fill out because it skips over it so then you have to over ride. This will be the last year I use this product ,less headache to pay to get my taxes done than waste time figuring out stuff manually.

The only setback I found this year, and I help a few people with their taxes, is that I had to research where to put in the deduction for the Digital News Tax Credit. I expected a pop-up form coming up for T622E, but there was none, and I had to directly enter it onto line 31350 of the T1 General Form. I could not find discussion of this on any of the TurboTax resources.

Few Points for Turbo Tax to Improve On
To show how much to carry forward for RRSP, Donation and Medical Expenses.
In Netfile section, there should be a third option if you have a CRA account and if you have direct deposit already.

TurboTax makes it easier
TurboTax is a great product that takes most of the guesswork out of preparing and filing the average tax return.
To use it to maximum advantage it is best to register for a MY CRA account which would allow populating of the fields in the return automatically from the info that the CRA has on the tax slips ... no guesswork.
Does not have details of some of the uncommon items without going to CRA site.
I would not do my taxes without this software

Why when someone passes away do you have to mail their tax return. You should be able to netfile the same way an e-filer does.
That is my only real suggestion.

I don't know why the system will not let me delete stuff I don't need. I have gone back through every question and yet it still shows me the deduction. I had to delete and create another file so that was not showing. Also didn't calculate the extra for a remote Climate credit.
