Great program

Turbo Tax is a Breezw!
I've been using Turbo Tax (previously Quick Tax) for eleven years now. Before that, I was paying an accountant because even thinking about the tax return form made my brain go scrambled.
The first time I used it, it was a bit like the first cake I ever made - I checked the recipe (the forms) over and over and over..., even though Turbo Tax found everything I missed and walked me through to fix things.
Now it takes less than an hour - would be even less if I didn't still check everything over and over and over...
It's a money saver and it feels great to do it myself.

Very quick and easy
I love the fact that I didn't even have to get dressed and drive to the store today to purchase this software...and I got it for cheaper than if I had gone out and bought a retail copy! Very easy to use, very informative and thorough. The one and only downfall, in my opinion, is that it forces you to use Internet Explorer for all of it's online needs instead of allowing you to choose your browser. I hate Internet Explorer! Thankfully, your software didn't require me to have any funky plug-ins so I was able to use my non-updated, non-used Internet Explorer with zero hassles and that was nice.

When using the easy step method at certain points a page would come up recommending an upgrade to the program. It was shown at the beginning and that should have been enough.

basic too limited
Highly recommend Turbotax and I use it every year but at the very least the software should recall the details from the previous years files. It is a feature in TurboTax standard but not in basic, but to me this is chintzy as heck. Should be a basic functionality.

Easy enough for a 12 yr to do, she was my eyes.
Have been using Turbo tax and have always been very pleased with it. It is very easy to use. I was showing my young daughter how easy it was and she would have been just as capable as I to do our taxes. In fact she had to help me with the printing.

Big time money Saver!!
I did 2 years of returns for both my kids and wasn't sure if it was right so I took all my paperwork into a tax specialist and to my surprise, it was all correct when I did them on the computer at home with turbo tax. The lady was nice enough not to charge me for checking them and saved me $240.00 that they would have charged for doing them. Turbo tax is so simple to use, that's why I doubted if it was right. Seemed too easy..it fills all the forms in the correct places and takes the guess work out of it. Turbo tax is definitely the way to go every year now.

Easy as abc
I've been afraid to do my own taxes.
Numbers, Me, and that sinking feeling of failure has kept me from doing my own taxes.
This year, I decided why not check out TurboTax, after hearing from friends and people at work that it's as easy as abc to use, especially considering my situation is pretty basic.

for years I have struggled with the paper forms available from the Post Office. It would take hours and hours to figure out. This is the second year I have used Turbo Tax and believe me it is absolutely great. I completed my tax return and my wifes in about 1 1/2 hours. (I'm a little slow at it) I'm telling you, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

So easy I did it myself!
This is my second year with turbo tax. I have always taken my tax return to a professional until now. I've found that they never really seemed to get me my maximum return and they charge a lot of money. I had no idea how to do my own return which is quite basic, turbo tax walks you through it, can't really go wrong with this great purchase.
