not working as expected
It recommends doing a couples return, won't do a net file, when I press save a pdf, nothing happens, when I press print, nothing happens. Says We'll set up a cra account later... never does.

Easy to follow, BUT
The steps were easy to follow, BUT the drop down boxes to fill in amounts for income, donations, etc. were way too small. It was very hard to read the fine print and check what you actually entered. Also, when printing you are asked if you want Turbo Tax to close pages that you did not need. The system still managed to print several unnecessary pages.

Very good value. Fairly easy to use. Major complaint is that the forms could be larger print and I could not find a way to increase the size of the forms. This concern is significant.

I was a little disappointed when it offered me the "opportunity" to upgrade from Basic to Standard because I had charitable donations to report. This does NOT inspire confidence! You could at least offer a significant discount,

Excellent!
The Turbo Tax product appeared to clearly and thoroughly guide & instruct me in order to complete the 2018 Federal Tax return corresponding to data. Very user-friendly including ingeniously offering customers the opportunity to obtain services from professionals introduced with their photos. Overall rating of Turbo Tax 4.5. Why? Because there is always room for improvement plus sustaining motivations to assure that the quality of the project continues...keep up the excellent work!

Confused ending

good product
I usually get my taxes done by an accountant but this year I did them online by myself it was super easy with turbo tax. My return was very simple but still I enjoyed using turbo tax it saved me money.

Good value
I have used Turbo tax for many years, I have done my taxes using this system and have never had a problem with it. It is easy to use, and good value for money. Being retired, I use the Basic tax return.

Why slower than 2016?
This is a good product, straightforward to use... but why is it slower than the 2016 version? The pauses, even when entering simple data, are frustrating. Also, why did my charitable donations jump to my wife's account? There was no warning for that one, leading to some bad words.

If Living Common Law was status in 2017 and Martial status changed in 2018 to single, then the only status Turbo 2018 will accept is Separated, or you cannot use Netfile.

pretty easy to use, but a few issues, some items not clear where to enter and when hit the help button you can't type in questions. not everyone has a printer at home, should be able to enter a email address. and I have finished my taxes and have no idea if it was filed ,it just keeps asking to print and mail in and I keep going back and the same thing, so I guess I will have to wait since I don't have a printer to print and mail,

too few options
I did not find anywhere to put in expenses such as property tax and when I clicked on help to get explanation of cost base adjustment there were 3 options and only one pop up answer that did not explain the other two. None apply to my situation but the probgramme would not allow me to put in the accurate information

Trouble
I have used Turbo-tax since its inception and never had a problem. This year there was a delay in getting their forms approved by CRA which I believe caused me a TT403 error from which I was able to recover with supports help.

Just one comment
Many people I know have no understanding of any kind of taxes. They just complain when they pay off the paycheck without looking into how they might get money back while filing. Just a thought ...maybe Intuit could create an on line tutorial without getting to in depth and call basic taxes for you Or "Taxes For Dummies" although that may be taken. In an hour of getting a client to focus, ask a question and read I alone could start a business and I am by no means an expert. Only page that comes up in the program that may be confusing or difficult to grasp is the Provincial return. Most people don't have an understanding of federal or provincial taxes or know their claiming basics. Let's go to school instead of texting ...!!!!
