FONT SIZE TOO SMALL FOR US SENIORS
I found it very hard to read because i am 78 and i wonder and hope you make a version with larger font and bold ????

2018 Tax
This software is great and easy to use. The only issue i had was trying to find where i put my property taxes but I did eventually find it. Yay. Recommend to anyone who is capable of using software and understands the basics of completing taxes.

Great Product
Allows you to do basic filling. Was able to file for me and my wife, claim charitable expenses and childcare costs. Not has user friendly as the Standard version.

Very Simple
The program gets easier each year, now by connecting with CRA, with the auto fill T slips and other data, you barely need to enter any data.

Easy to use once installed!
It took me awhile to navigate to the website in order to download the program on my computer. i have been using this program for 3-4 years now. i wish there was a way to update the previous version with the current year's purchase (key input) but from what i can tell you have to download the program each year. took me too long to figure that out. other than that, easy step by step instructions.

Convenience
I have used this product for more than five years, and continue to be pleased with it. Each year it is up-to-date with the current forms and laws, and seems to get easier to use. I can get my taxes done in just a few minutes, with the confidence that I have not overlooked a box somewhere.

Got the job done...

best product
After using TurboTax Standard for over 5 years decided to try the Basic package. With the overall usage I still found that the Standard package is still the best one to use even for the simple no special deductions filling. Will go back to "Turbo Tax Standard"

2nd Year Using TurboTax
Downloading from CRA and the auto-filling of last year's personal information saves tons of time.
Also, the automatic updating of all relevant forms when making changes to a form or area in easy step mode is a solid feature.
The Windows application itself is very old style and kludgy. It could do with a total overhaul. I use a laptop running Windows 10 with a small screen and attach a large monitor to it. I run TurboTax on the large monitor so that it is easy to read. My laptop's main screen is set up with the Display Settings "Scale and Layout" set to "150% Recommended". This makes the small screen very easy to read. When in Forms mode in TurboTax, some forms will be displayed in my small laptop screen and will be much larger than the screen itself, so that I can't see the Title Bar or buttons on the bottom. I had to change the "Scale and Layout" settings to 100% just to close the window. This kind of thing happens with old style Windows programs. Newer ones will take into account the display aspect ratio of the smaller screen and adjust accordingly.
All in all, I'd recommend TurboTax, especially for the price.

forms awkward
found all forms to be filled out, too small to read... also did not fit screen. Continually toggling back, forth, up , and down . like i said took all day....2016 version was easier to fill in.

You should put the amounts for Dividends, Taxable Dividends, and the Dividend tax Credit in separate boxes on your form box so you can see the total of the individual amounts because added together they make no sense.

12-month ending period medical ex
The TurboTax Basic version needs a method to change the 12-month ending period for medical expenses after it has been entered.
I discussed this with your support team and was told to upgrade to the Standard version. I don't consider this to be acceptable.

Good Product
I immigrated to Canada in 2017, therefore it is my first Income Tax Revenue Declaration. I had to do some research in Google but at the end got the Forms done. I would say it is an ok option for simple declarations. For difficult declarations, it would require an advanced accounting practitioner.
