Great value, instant return
We have used Turbo Tax Netfile for years and have always been able to complete within a short period of time. Health permits me only a very limited time at the computer so this system is of great help to me.

I like turbo Tax because it is easy to file my Income tax. It does it for you. Cheap rate too!! It is the future for all. I think. More people should do taxes this way. I like it.

It was okay
From the software part through Turbo-tax it was good. I would suggest people use it. I would just like to see changes in the wording forms from the government. Accountants are not the using this so be clear, give examples of what they want.

Superior to a Tax Rep
Missed the table at the left side of the of the Main Pages that showed the Total Income, Taxable Income. Federal Tax and Refund or Balance Owing and changed as soon as changes were made in the main pages

First Time Using
Never used Turbo Tax always used UFile but it was cheaper and gave it a shot. It was fairly easy to use and wasn't disappointed.

Mostly straightforward if you are familiar with the forms. Had annoying bugs or things I couldn't figure out re CPP opt-out requirement after age 65 and re an override.

A good value
This was our first time doing taxes ourselves. Although it was fairly simple to use, the set up took a while. Also, always worried that we are not keying in the right numbers in the right slots.

Good but interface less than what it used to be
Still a very good product but the latest changes to Easy Step have made it less user-friendly ! Especially the provincial portion was confusing because now it seems that Easy Step actually uses the forms to input a lot of the information which to me defeats the purpose - I had to spend a lot of time to find the checkbox so that the Ontario Property Tax would display correctly !

TT 2016 Tax Year
This is the best production since I have been using TT and that is about 15 years or more. The improvements from TT 2015 to TT 2016 are at last very user friendly and get more to the point than in any previous year. The price has to stay stable and not keep increasing however. The transfer of previous years info to this year is most refreshing. I have not tried the CRA My Account process yet but may do that next year as the sign up process with the Feds can be quite onerous. Good Work TT. Keep it up.

Complicated this year
For some unknown reason things seemed very complicated this year, which is my second with Turbo tax. Last year it sailed through in just a few minutes. But this year things and terms seemed hard to understand, and I ended up weeding through too much stuff only to declare old age security, supplement, and quebec pension plan. I don't know - it all went through, but was very hard on the nerves since this is such an important thing and if I screw up I might not get my pension properly on time.

Basic is not as easy to use as Standard
I only need to do 3 returns, so I decided to buy the Basic program, rather than the Standard program. I found that it was not as user friendly as the Standard prompts you page by page, but all the information was there and I saved myself $15, so I suppose it was worth it.

Good Value
I've done my taxes by hand before but I've used TurboTax for over 5 years. I've used the basic version as well as the regular version. I prefer the basic version as it is just as helpful and has all the necessary forms. I will continue to buy Turbo Tax in the future.

Lack of Features
I only use the basic version as I am retired. I do not like the fact that you cannot import last years info unless I buy the upgraded version. I do not believe that this feature is not included in the basic version.

Prefer Standard
With a basic return, I thought the Basic edition would be good. Wish I had paid the extra few dollars and just gotten the Standard edition I usually get. Would recommend Standard over Basic even for a simple return.
