SUPER EASY
Continue to be super satisfied with Turbo Tax, the basic is cheap under $20 and I use it to do everyone in the households taxes in an hour or 2. Highly recommend this product to everyone !

Basic returns
For those, like hubby and I, who need only file a basic tax return, TurboTax makes filing so fast and easy! Nothing could be simpler. Once completed, the electronic filing is a snap and much quicker than sending by post. An accountant would charge us double the price, at least!

what a relief!
My elderly parents have asked me to prepare their taxes for the 2nd year in a row. Last year, I used the big booklet and found it so tedious. This was so much easier and faster. They don't have many forms to enter so the basic version was even more advanced than what I needed... Super easy to use. Well worth the money.

Mostly Great
This was my fourth year with Turbo Tax Basic and the first time I have any complaints. Found it glitchy in that I would sometimes be on a page (eg the pink schedule page for Ontario Tax Credits) and could never leave that page no matter where I clicked. Had to completely exit and re-start. Other years have been excellent.

Very helpful to get organized
I have used Turbotax for many years to get my single unit rental property revenue and expenses reconciled and my small home-based business revenue and expenses reconciled. I find it intuitive and thorough to deal with the complications that CRA creates.

Reduces Tension
In the past I have always dreaded doing our annual tax returns. With Turbo Tax the tensions are very much reduced. Even a non-teckie such as myself can cope. Simplicity has many virtues.

I normally do taxes manually. I found it difficult to find some forms. i.e. rent paid. Also how to enter on lines 14400 to 14700. They did no appear. Also I apparently forms were filed and I didn't clink on 'file'. I'm not sure if my corrections were in there. I have he message that what I saved is not the same as what I filed.

Basic was sufficient for OAS and CPP
When you don't have RRSPs and lots of other stuff, just pension stuff, Basic worked fine.
NETFILE worked a charm too.

Excellent after the Spouse's DOB issue was fixed
This updated version was easy to work with & I was able to e-file my return. There was an issue with the first version of TurboTax that I downloaded. I was not able to e-file my return because there was not any place to enter the Date-of-Birth of my spouse. TurboTax finally fixed this problem. The only problem with this is that they did not advise users that the issue was fixed & I had to keep returning to TurboTax to see if there was an update & finally there was.
