Easy.
This is my 5th year using turbotax and have no complaints, it has been simple from the beginning and hasnt changed and confused me over the years. Very helpful with reminders for things I wouldn't have thought about and also helped to apply for programs I wouldn't have heard of otherwise.

fast easy and efficient
I do my entire family, me, my wife and 4 adult children, all in one day. love the way turbo tax helps spread the savings around, making sure we pay as little tax as possible. have used it for many years

Complicated
I have found the 2013 version far more complicated than in previous years.
May be it is the fault of the tax form being written by financial experts who do not appreciate the effect on the ordinary person.

quick and painless
only one thing. not easy to enter box 20 of quebec pension, as the pop-up box asks for info on boxes 14-19 which are blank on the quebec T4AP, so it could be a bit more clear, such as "for Quebec, enter amount from box 20 in box 14" or something. otherwise, excellent and filing is a breeze.

Friendly User Product
This is my second year using this product. The opportunity to review possible errors before filing is greatly appreciated. This year, I started teaching my oldest son, so that next year he can do his own taxes while I supervise, then he can take over and do mine. The only problem I have come across is if you have a Group Insurance Plans and you forget to indicate your code; eg 14 in Line 449, an amount show as contribution to the Quebec prescription drug plan; even though this information is already entered in Box 85 - other information on the T4 form - it does not transfer to the Releve form automatically as the other information. Hopefully this will be corrected for 2014 filing. It is a very good product.

A good purchase
A little difficult for a first time user. Is not easy to go back and fix an error for someone who is not comfortable using a computer on a new program. Will purchase again next year, will be more comfortable with program next year.

It's pretty good, but...
I find when I am reviewing my forms, I found that where I fill out my marital status as single the form has put 'X's where I have a spouse and I can't change it.
Otherwise, it does take you through the steps easy enough.

Support Payments
The title of "Alimony Payments" made me think they were only referring to Spousal Support Payments. I had to go into "Help" to clarify if this was supposed to include Child Support payments as well.
Also, when transferring tuition credits, the federal and provincial forms had to be completed separately, but the links to them were placed on the same line, side-by-side, so it was not obvious that they were separate entries. Thankfully, the review section at the end detected this and allowed me to go back and make the revision.

Simple does it!
The first time I used that program for my rental property and I'm very much OK with it and how it is set up. Even if I didn't get everything right at the first attempt, after going over it once again I got it. But that seemed not to be the programs fault, merely the problem of the tax it self and my inexperience.

Practical software rogram for simple tax returns
So far I used this software for several years and I'm pleased even if I struggled with some deductions this year, but that was my fault and I solved the problem after reading more careful the hints. If you have a T4 and maybe a T5 and nothing else it works perfectly. So as I said: Simple does it with Basics.

Sure Makes Filing a Breeze
After fighting my way through the confusing forms it sure is nice to use the turbo tax interview style. I buy Turbo Tax every year and I can file my taxes in about half an hour from my kitchen table

Great for beginners
I have always paid somebody to file my takes for me, and math has never been my strong suit. I was scared to file my taxes alone for the first time, afraid that I would accidentally enter incorrect information that would cause big problems down the road. But TurboTax guided me through my return step by step that made the process quick and painless. I'd recommend this program for anybody who is new to filing their taxes.

Few tips
For beginners the use of TurboTax can be a bit confusing specially for a newcomer to this country and its tax system. If a new users is not familiarized with the tax industry, the excess of data request can be overwhelming and confusing as it tends to be repetitive and tedious. There is not clear and easy way to put all the info or at least, as a new user, I found it quite complicated. Good luck....
