Could not netfile
The only reason to purchase TurboTax is to be able to Net file our returns. Since this feature, according to hundreds if not thousands of other people besides myself, does not work...it is a wast of time and money.
Might as well just do the return the old fashioned way, by hand.

Tax Returns
I have to say that Turbo Tax just gets better every year. This year the format is even easier and the advice and warnings make it a lot more easier to file your tax return. Keep up the good work Turbo Tax.

info being transferred to new claim
I was not able to transfer my basic information to my new claim (bummer) I had to re-type everything. I recall in previous years that my info did tranfer over to my new claim.

basic tax return
I have between using turbo tax software for about 5 years and this is my first basic. If you don't have a rental income very easy to use. Even thought I have a rental I did not have any problems. Its very easy to use even for a beginner and it shows you how to save more money when doing your taxes. I would recommend it to anyone.

Getting better every year
As a retired person I have to purchase medical cover privately, Blue Cross in Alberta. I believe that to claim this as a deduction is very simple and should be picked up in the Turbo Tax Basic package. After all it is a very simple item to address.

Although I was unable to enter my rent paid for the year I found this a very easy way to file
When I tried to enter rent paid there was a confusing message and was not helpful to me as I was still unable to complete the ONBEN form
I suspect I will not be receiving my Canada Pro payments monthly because of this

Super Convenient
this is the 2nd year I used this and I find it very helpful. earlier, I bought a different tool online and it keeps rejecting my application and says that I need to submit a paper application. for whatever reason, I don't know. I bought turbo tax and in minutes, I was able to file my tax return online. I will use this again next year.

Have used for 6 Years now
Good program, easy to use, never had a problem with filing or being audited. Only thing i can see is that it needs to inform you of what schedules and forms you should be filling out. Otherwise very good will buy next year again.

First time user
This was the first time using Turbo Tax for our returns. I found it very ease to follow, at times I did have to re-read some of the instructions and wasn't quite sure where our child tax credit went eather to my partner or to myself and had a bit of a hard time to track back to find it besides that it was good. It took me just a bit over an hour do complete so I don't think that was bad for the first time.

Needs more simple laymans terms
All in all a good product. I really like how it checks for errors before you file. I found that a lot of the "help" explainations did not speak in laymans terms which made it more confusing.

Could use some inprovement
This software starts off OK, it interviews you to get the data it needs. Everything is great until it gets to the provincial forms. Suddenly the "interview" no longer works and you can't find any place to enter rent or property taxes (for both of the returns we did). The help area just says to click an option on the provincial tab, but that option is not there. You have to click on the "forms" button and suddenly the interview is over and you're back to trying to decipher these darn tax forms. The entire idea of purchasing software like this is so you don't have to deal with those forms, the software does it for you. Unfortunately Turbo Tax doesn't when it comes to provincial forms. Last year I used a competing product and it did everything properly and easily. I only used Turbo Tax this year because I couldn't find the software I used last year. Next year, I'll look harder. Turbo Tax isn't as easy as they say it is.

Very Good But...
Despite being a great, user-friendly and easy product, there is some duplication of information and/or same questions asked several times. One example is the whole saving and printing options and related questions, which makes me kind of impatient in the end. So, I believe that some steps could still be eliminated and the whole filing process could be simplified further.
