Half cooked
Used to be an excelent product in prevoius years. The 2019 is very poor doing little to simplify the process. The Personal Deduction section does nothing else than opening the tax forms for the user to complete. Compltely useless.

No Optimization on RRSP or Medical. Substandard.
This version does not offer optimization on medical expenses or RRSP contributions. I am not even convinced it computes taxes correctly, given my RRSP contribution over the year and the taxes owing.

disappointed
I preferred the previous years version of turbo tax better than the 2018 I have been using turbo tax for years and I found this is just not worth the money this year. I could have done a paper copy just as efficiently

too hard to understand to netfile
I thought that I had already sent my return back in March threw your system to Revenue Canada but now I found out it wasn't sent .Your system before was easier to understand now I am late with my return. This is very upsetting

Too Basic
Even for the simplest return, this product was bad. Standard last year at least asked questions, this one expects you to know too much. I love Turbo Tax, but this year because I had such basic returns I bought basic...….. bad mistake.

disappointed
I bought these Turbo Tax this year 2018 and was disappointed. I always used Turbo Tax and the year 2018 was horrible. Even printing is very poor. I will not recommend this product again and wont use it next time.

This year's version was awful to work with. Hard to find when saved, kept integrating with previous return already completed, couldn't find page to send electronically and kept saving a new version each time I updated to save my information. Very disappointed when I've purchased for the last 4 years..

Im really not this smart to do this by myself, But Im tryin. I would not likely advise someone to purchase this product because I had it done as far as I thought as of the 22 Feb 2018 this is really a stupid product but we'll think about it for a year an see if I come back. Frustrated user
First, I can't install Turbo tax on my pc, but it install on my laptop. I had a hard time navigating it. But I manage to file me and my husband tax return. But right now, i am stuck with a infinite loop to file my sons return.

Why Change it?
I found this years' program to be awful.
It was always so easy and clear entering your T4's and all your information. Even rent: --- where is it if you're not applying for a Northwestern Home Grant. That's the only place I saw it.
I'd be working on one T4 and all of my screen was in forms. I didn't choose the form method to file my income tax, I chose Easy Step. It was easy but it'\s not now. I am very disappointed in this program this year.
I went to check out my property tax. Do you think I could find that?
And, to make thiings worse, when I went to print the forms version was printed rather than the Easy Step.
Just awful. I've been using Turbo Tax for at least the last 10 years and never have I been this upset.

Ouch
Used this for years without any problem. This year I owe money.. I doubt it. Anyways the government would not accept the file from turbotax. The program said error.. no internet, doubt it.
Tried manually and government still would not accept the file in netfile.

not user friendly
I always used ufile and I have switched to turbo tax, its is worst ever experience.It does not allow me to netfile ,lot of error.I tried to upload return through their website. Still it is showing error.

Garbage program
I have used turbo tax for many years with not much difficulty until past 2 years. I do not plan on using ever again. Program does not transfer information as previously which would cause benefits to be denied and does not provide relevant information one requires. Locks one out and tells to uninstall and reload.All information lost and them counts number of returns twice. Conitnually wanting to sell another part of the program and services yet cannot get assistant for what you need to utilize the said program unless willing to pay again and again. using the communtiy service is another way not to deal with the issues and try to have others who have experienced problems try to lend a helping hand. when no success wish one good luck or one could repurchase the program.Crap

Major programming flaws
I was unable to use the self employment income feature due to programming errors I called their support desk and they suggested I go the CRA website and do a T1 adjustment request and try running the program again. Not exactly the sort of support I was hoping for!

Worst Year ever
I have used TurboTax from the first year that TurboTax was on the market and never had any problems filing my return until this year, I have been trying to file since March1 and all I get is a message that the government has not finished with all the forms.
I also phoned your help line...to find out it was only another company that is affiliated with you and they could not help...even to give me a phone number to contact TurboTax directly
This year, maybe, will be the last year I'll be buying Turbo Tax!!!
