Worth it! while not so easy to fill.
Although a bit of more info in free version could be provided, but a little bit of going back and forth and research will make turbotax a great and solid choice. the warnings at the end might be confusing, but are assuring (better to be sure than to send crappy file)

Not for everyone
I love using turbo tax, but every year I have to do my mothers as she always gets stressed out using the free version, and all the pop up asking to buy the full version! I fully understand the need to promote and upsell, but maybe have it only at the beginning and end, to prevent a little confusion making people think they have to buy to complete their taxes! Thanks!!

Easy to use for Free
I have used the paid version of Turbo Tax Standard for years, and thought I would try the free version this year. I was impressed by how easy it was to use. The layout in the free version is very similar to the paid version. I was getting features that I thought I would only get in the paid version. Things like guiding questions, and a navigation table so you know where you are in the process. It allowed me to jump back and forth to wherever I want to go. I liked how it automatically saved info, and it will store this years tax info, so it can be pulled up again next year under the same log-in info. Only thing I wished this free version had was an ability to review the actual tax sheets. I wasn't able to do that until after I Netfiled the return, then a pdf copy of the sheets was available for me to review and save. Something I was willing to compromise on this year, but in future years, I prefer to review the sheets before I file. It's just a personal preference. Thank you Turbo Tax for this impressive free version.

Pretty good for Free!!!
I already did a paper return, but decided to file electronically due to slow processing this year. Since I needed to use the T2125 form for my husband's business, this FREE software did the trick. Only thing I noticed is Part 7 allowed 3 lines for OTHER, but only 1 line showed up on the final paperwork and I'd filled in 2 lines . . .? Also, donations form didn't match the new 2019 form I got in the mail. Values ended up being the same, so worked for my purposes (hope CRA feels the same). Well worth the price!

A good way to get started
I used this program to prepare returns for my kids. I "guess" it is a good program but frankly I probably could have done it quicker on paper. Also very annoying to not be able to get a CRA account for first tax return (at least that is what they told me). A little weird to have to check a zero income box... that is what I said right. At least the program keeps an eye on all of the weird exceptions in the tax laws.

Great service but I have a very simple return and it kept asking if I wanted to pay to ensure it was correct. Quite annoying but at least I could bow out of paying for the extras.

easy but annoying
Easy to use but warnings at end, even when reviewed and corrected, still pop up at time of filing which makes one feel like they did something wrong. So another review is done and shows there is still nothing wrong. When choosing "ignore" it does not leave you alone as it says it will, it pops up again and again.

first time user
As a first time user of Turbo tax and filing online I found the program to work well, only one glitch, no prompts to the drop-down menu for added info or to back track, but once I realized how to work it it was smooth sailing after that.

Good, but less streamlined than last year
simple to use, but overly complicated in the self-employment section. I found myself repeating sections because of bad user interface design and being worried my whole document was compromised when I pressed "back" on my computer rather than on the website due to an "error" page. Also there are way too many "clicks", especially in the CRA sign-in process. I understand security is important, but the website seemed to require sign-in at different intervals - for example, when I started the process, even though I clicked on turbotax 2019, I ended up in turbotax 2018 and had to restart, signing in and trying to just begin. Just the simple act of signing in is about 7 clicks - way too many. Please redesign your UX.

New Endeavor
It asked me to review the Income Split information several times. This needs to be clarified. I did mine and my husband's income tax together but don't really understand about the income tax split information. I was just doing both of them at the same time.
