Easy to use
This is my third year using the free online version of this product - I previously completed my returns for almost 30 years by paper so I appreciate being able to see the product line by line to review. I did find it a bit tricky to find the proper review term to view the whole return in the review category but once I did :) I split pension income and had a change in my dependant situation but even the free online version properly calculated my credits. Overall a great value and you can get something worthwhile for free!

If you need don't need help but need more services, Plus version works!
If you need help or like to go with questions, the standard, etc... is for you.

They won't give you the detailed copy to print with the free version like they did last year! Would be helpful if I could print the full version not just the condensed version! It works when you enter everything. Otherwise it's okay.

Easy but they sell you up
You think you are filling out a free return because when they recommend you do Free with PLUS, they don't indicate that PLUS comes at an additional $10 charge. You don't find out until you have to pay at the end for a relatively simple tax return.

simple to use
This was my second year using TurboTax, and it is relatively easy to use. All you have to do is follow the prompts. The website seems a bit different this year, but I was still able to get my taxes done by myself. I had a couple of questions, but all I needed to do was type them in the help box, and I was able to get the answers quickly.

Easy to Use for First Time Tax Filers

Good product
At the end there is a place that you can click on if you make an error. I made an error and clicked on it to see what I should do. It told how to make a copy of my return. It had nothing to do with the error I had made or how to correct it. I finally was able to talk to the Help lady. She was very good but she also didn't know what to do. I'm sure I'm not the only person to make a mistake and found it after I filed. Fix that.

Easy, quick and simple
This is the go-to tool to use for filing my taxes. I did so in 15 minutes despite various forms, investments and info I had to provide. I recommend this to everyone.
Perhaps there's a few too many attempts to get me to pay for a different version but I understand. I could imagine some less tech-savvy individuals getting confused by this.

Excellent Programme Except...
TurboTax Online is a wonderfully straightforward e-filing assistant that doesn't over-complicate things with technical jargon or require a degree in accounting to understand. My only complaint is the frequent prompts to upgrade to paid version, however, these are simply dismissed with a few clicks of the mouse. My entire year's tax return was filled and filed in less than an hour.

Quick, Easy, and Oblivious
I have been doing my own taxes for years on paper and Excel, and this program is much faster, and has all the bugs worked out. Very user friendly, really. The only problem is that it blasts through so quickly that I would easily miss possible deductions without being aware, if I wasn't specifically looking for them from previous experience. (For example, it does not lead you to input charitable donations, I suppose it assumes most people don't do that anymore??)

I found turbotax a bit confusing this year, especially where you start with the fields where you have to input the salary/pension you make. did not recall the same setup last year.
I also found that the ads throughout made it really confusing to stay on track. It would be far better to have the advertisements either at the beginning or at the end.
I am really pleased though as a pensioner to have this service free of charge. many thanks and I would definitely recommend it to others.
