There is no clear indication that I have sent....

not friendly
I've used turbo tax for years and this year it is not very user friendly. It was hard to go back or know where you were. The user face window was confusing. When I skipped over things and had to go back took me a long time to figure out how to get back to the proper screen. I'd try another software this year.

Avoid this product
Although TurboTax harasses the user to add-on extra services throughout the process, it is decent software for the purpose.
My main complaint is that TURBOTAX is a major sponsor on FOX NEWS!

Company is a greedy predator
I think it's so scummy you put particular forms and submission under a paywall to force people to pay for your product. That's a crap move for a crap company. Instead of supporting and helping fellow Canadian's retain their money and optimize their funds you are so greedy that any way you can force someone to pay for something you will. I couldn't even submit a simple T5 form because it was behind a paywall. Go f yourself.

Not the best for an estate
I have prepared estate returns before with TurboTax and this time it seemed confusing, the wording was not related to the deceased and it did not provide special messaging when going through to avoid errors. I found myself having to look up information to verify accuracy. Then at the end, it wanted to 'prepare for next year's' - when it was a deceased return. Just seemed odd.

This took many tries.
Doing our taxes was easy, however, the CRA website was down when I went to NetFile. Once it was up I tried going back in to file. I couldn't access the files. It took 4 phone calls & a message on Facebook to finally get help. That part was less than impressive.

Difference in refund amounts
I would recommend to my friends if this was more accurate,I can’t afford to take my income tax to someone and have to pay and I’d like to know how and why there is such a huge difference in my refund prepared from TurboTax as from CRA??? No I did not make any mistakes checked it over numerous times, this is the 3rd year I’ve used TurboTax and always the same almost $1000 difference between the two refunds.

Helpful, but not on mobile website
I filed my taxes through TurboTax for the first time through the mobile site. I even got an email that told me everything was filed and finished. After months of waiting for my refund, I investigated the issue and downloaded the app. Once downloaded, there were several steps that had been missing from the website. I'm not sure if it was user error, in that case I would say it would not easy to use the website. But the app successfully filed my taxes accurately and I have no complaints about that. It was just an unfortunate circumstance that has been resolved now.

No Income Retiree
Turbotax would not allow me to Netfile a return because the person did not have income and was over the age of 65. Someone relatively new to the country and that has only just become a Canadian citizen can easily fall into this category, so it should be treated as a warning, and not and error, and the person should be able to Nettle their return.
