Wrong again
If you can instantly review your taxes through CRA, and once again, Turbo Tax was wrong, why do I need Turbo Tax at all.

I am disgusted with this years version.It is telling me that I have to enter info for self employed--I am not self imployment and have tried to convey that message but it still says it is needed and will not let me efile. Now I am trying to print this return and it will not let me do that. I have wasted my money purchasing your product. Might as well hand write the return.

Too Many Upsells
I have used this product for many years and this year was the most frustrating with continual upsells. Also when I did the 3rd file for my son; I was to pay to have questions asked for a simple return! This is ridiculous! Seriously considering never using again.

So so, but there is nothing else, so...
Overall UI/UX is so so, it does what you need but only in simple cases. The most confusing part is Warnings - the app tells you that something requires your attention, you go to a detailed page and then there are two options "Confirm or Ignore" and you have no idea what was that, since there are no details on what is wrong, it just says "This section looks wrong, do you want to confirm/ignore it and continue?"
Take a look at good examples from other tax-filling application from European countries - they are much much better.

Worse each year
Every year the continual pestering to upgrade and buy a more expensive product is SO annoying. This year, I couldn't transfer the information from last year on the free version for my low income mother. Let the free version be free and easy. Makes me want to switch to another product.

too slow
this year, the software for income tax was so slow, with too many questions, slow to save the info, too many payment or payment upgrades during the process. very difficult to access program. I just did not like it at all this year.

HARDEST TIME EVER
I paid THREE times for this stupid software for NOTHING. I have tried over and over to NETFILE and it won't let. My taxes are now late and I will be penalized with delayed child tax payments. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH TURBOTAX CANADA AND I USE THEM EVERY YEAR.

not great
Kept receiving email updates as tax deadline grew closer. 'clinked' on the email then was asked to pay for the software... it was free the year previous.
What exactly did I pay for?
Did I receive this/any benefit for the paid version??

Wouldn't let me Netfile
It would not let me netfile, and when I went to the CRA's netfile eligibility page I did not fit any of the criteria listed there to prevent me from netfiling. It has been incredibly frustrating trying to troubleshoot why it is not letting me netfile, and I don't understand why turbotax can't just tell me specifically why it is refusing to let me netfile. I now have to mail my taxes in for the first time ever.

first time using
being a first time user of turbo tax I did not find it simple when trying to file for my kids and myself. I got an error message that the cra information was not the same and I couldn't continue to file but I have no idea how to fix it.

Frustrating!
This package is rubbish. Lots of bugs. No workarounds. Only solution is to start a new return. In some cases, dead-ends are so bad that their only solution is to totally abandon and open a brand new TurboTax account with completely new username, etc.

Improvements
This year there was some issues saving and updating a return. Every time I would save, leave and return to my tax return it would not remember the most recent information just from my initial login.

Taxing Effort to complete
I found this very difficult especially when it wouldn't let me back in with my password and I had to change it every time I used it and the first three times that I filled in all the information when I went to retrieve it I lhad to start all over again

Confusing. On printed file copy there are boxes that were not given too me to fill out like federal election info placed me as not Canadian Citizen. Also Home credit did not place my response and says someone else used my $5000 credit. Incorrect.Frustrating to use as Turbo Tax is constantly trying to UPGRADE you. Definitely Turbo Tax is not making it easy to flow from one portion of the return to the other.

Too much advertising
Far too many advertisements "upsetting".
Also, why is there no software to use for a Mac/Apple user. I had to use the online version and that is much slower for me to work with than the software version.

Frustration not being able to see return
I was unaware that I needed to apparently purchase something so that I could later view my tax return. In fact I'm quite upset because I have other affairs with the cra and I need certain info that was put into my return and I can no longer access that making it very difficult to do the things I need to do. Quite frankly I don't know why I shouldn't be able to log on and see my return I filed. When I clearly didn't get an option to print off my phone. I don't think ll be using this service again unless somehow I am wrong and just can't figure it out

Annoying. Why is it so hard to file my 2018. Ive signed in three times and all I get is this vague page that doesn't file my taxes. Don't offer your service for free if it doesn't work.

Plus Plan Not Worth It
While the general software is easy to use, I purchased the extra $9.99 feature that would give me telephone support to help answer some of my questions. Both support people I spoke to were not only barely audible but didn't seem to understand my questions and we're very helpful in solving my problem.
