Wouldn't use the free version
Although I typically purchase this product to do my taxes, this year I tried the free version, and I ended up buying it to re-do my taxes as it was not intuitive and didn't provide sufficient detail, e.g I couldn't even find how to access or print the Provincial portion of my return.

NO T1175 to view OR print!!!
This wasn't exactly 'free'. Pd for the 'plus' version in order to carryforward information like our CCA. We have Capital Cost Allowance that we filled out on the T1175. After filing the return, there is NO T1175 to view or print off. I am concerned that this didn't even get E-filed with the return. This is a serious error. I also cannot find a phone number to get this straightened out. Very poor service (AND a poor product if the forms aren't even filed properly).

loses my info every year
I am tech-savvy and adaptable and every year this changes and gets less user-friendly. All my past year's tax info is gone, EVERY year. I have to start from scratch, all the time. This year I entered my info last month and went to add more....and all THAT work is gone! Why do you make it so difficult? I am trying to give you the benefit of patience. This is not rocket appliances!

Inconvenient
Every 2 pages I have an advertisement asking me to go premium when I don't want to, it is really annoying, especially when you try your best to focus in order to not make any mistake. And spending 80 DOLLARS for one (1) declaration per year seems ridiculous to me. Also the whole NETFILE code thing crashing and stopping me from sending my tax return online is very disappointing. Maybe I'm just bitter with that one, but seriously, stop harrassing people with these ads "do you want to subscribe ?" if I say "no" one (1) time, I'll say "no" all the time. Thank you so much for reading me.

first time i used TURBO TAX CANADA an i have hard time to complete every thing successfully. to have your individual T4 and business information added to one return is difficult. It looks like if you pay for service you can do NEtfile else have to take print out ad mail to CRA

Irritating

Filed my tax return 3 weeks ago, nothing came so I logged into CRA which said they hadn't received my return. Logged back into turbotax and it was not sent, even though when I finished it confirmed that it was completed. I had to redo the last several steps that I had already completed 3 weeks ago and resend. They gave me no warning that there had been an error and my return wasn't filed!

My return never actually got filed.
My return never actually got filed. They never told me. It still says in progress. I called CRA and they were the ones who told me they had no return from me.
Now, a long time later, I finally found out and am trying to submit it by mail, but the only copy I can find on my TurboTax account, is a pdf that had a "copy - do not file" watermark on it... So... Ya... Kinda sucks.

I'm tryng to print a copy of the file. I need a hard copy as I am filing this in for my special needs son. it won't print. This file insists that he have a CRA account, but he doesn't have a computer, nor can he fill any of this out. What good does it do, because CRA will only talk to him and he can't respond. And they won't talk to me, his mother.

My taxes are simple - it was first time using this and it was not user friendly in the least. Furthermore, when I finally filed my taxes, the amount they claim I’d receive in return was inaccurate- the government gave me twice as much. And of course, I am now uncertain if my taxes were done properly and if I may have to return that to the government. I do not recommend this to anyone.
