Pretty good
Pretty easy to use; only issue I had was trying to fill out the information for selling your principal residence, as the terminology and the way it was set up was confusing.

That was easy...
Simple, easy and takes the guess work out of filing your taxes. No need to worry about your return getting lost in the mail, Turbo Tax sends it off electronically and you receive confirmation that is has been received and an assessment date instantly. (I use the free service)

Very Thorough for Free Product
This is my 4th year using TurboTax and I would highly recommend it to friends for simple tax returns. TurboTax allows you to input investment and other income in the free version unlike similar products.

Easy for beginners

SUPER EASY

Intuitif et simple
Excellent moyen de faire ses déclarations annuelles de revenus. TurboTax est simple et facile d'utilisation, en plus c'est gratuit ou très accessible, selon le cas. Pratique pour les déclarations simples ou les plus complexes avec un peu de bon sens. Il est également possible de demander de l'aide à un professionnel, moyennant des frais. La transmission directe par internet aux agences gouvernementales du revenu est du pain béni. À recommander.

Very useful
With the greater complication of filling out taxes (we are an elderly couple splitting pension income, for example), it is indispensable to have a reliable system to do the computations. The feature that allows you to download what CRA has on file is extremely useful; it not only saves entering but allows you to make sure that your records and theirs are consistent (although both last year and this year, one T3/T5 slip that snuck into the CRA late was not picked up, so you do have to make a final check.

Wonderful for low income Seniors.
This is a fine simple program that most Seniors could understand; just follow the instructions and don't overthink it. TurboTax will assist you whenever you like, and guide you through the forms. It's best to pay them something to keep this program available.

One Stop Family Tax Service

My stay was wonderful
I have used Turbo tax for 3 years now and I find it very easy to use. I do my return on paper first but the Turbo Tax always comes up with a larger refund than I have on paper. I find that it only takes about 45 minutes to complete my return using Turbo tax if you have everything ready and in order first.

Free without the catch!
Never did I imagine being able to file my own taxes and not horribly failing! When I was told this was a free service I was sceptical, I was already preparing for the intrusive ads popping up but... they NEVER came ! I was shocked but thought the ads would appear when I would file my second return but again ... no ads, no interruption of any kind. Thank you TurboTax for making it easy and inexpensive (free) to file my taxes while getting me the return I always wanted

Easier than expected
I was nervous as I have never filed my own taxes before( i usually have it professionally done). Due to the current covid-19 situation everything is closed.
Turbotax walked me through the whole thing, and gave me plenty of opportunities to correct anything if need be.
At the end, i was showed what i can expect in terms of credits ( who wouldn't like to see that).
The fact that filing online gets everything assessed faster and allows me to be able to see my assessment sooner is a plus as well.
And because I already have a CRA( canada revenue agency) account, I was able to auto fill my return using information in my account, which filled half the file itself( useful for someone who’s nervous).
It was a good first experience and i believe i will be filing my own taxes with Turbotax again next year.

Makes Tax Time Less Stressful:)
As a senior on limited income having the opportunity to do my own income tax guided thru the process in a straightforward manner was very much appreciated. Because ours was a simple form we found the free option met our needs.
