Easy to Use
This app is easy to use although the autofill is glitchy. Overall, I am satisfied because I didn't pay anything for filing my taxes for myself and my spouse. Wonderful!

We are not very impressed with this new way of doing it. your system with the CD was much more user friendly. Other then that its a very good product overall.

Free and Reliable
I've been using turbotax for the past few years and it has been very straightfoward, easy-to-use, reliable and free. I have no issues for it except that some the features have becomed locked for paid versions. For that reason I put 4 stars and not 5.

my headache

Couldn't use what I paid for
I wanted to file with live assist because I have a complex tax situation where I got married to a non resident and moved countries in 2023. When I told the agent I had spoken with the CRA and that the CRA is aware I left Canada, the agent refunded me and walked me through setting up a free tax return. It was not clear why. I wanted to speak with an agent who could ensure that I navigated these circumstances correctly, and I was surprised I had to then go do it myself anyway.

had troubles for first time
I went through the free system to do my taxes, every year was great till this year, it didnt ask about student loan interest repayment, i had to do some searching, help didnt help, and the website told you which line to add it to but now how to get to that line through online filing. managed to thumb around until i found it hour and a half later. In the help section of website, it should tell you where to click to fill this information in. it was dishearting as all the previous years it has been so simple.
