Intuit knew everything. Why do you have to pay when the government already knows? This service would be better if Intuit didn't lobby the government to keep taxes unnecessarily complicated.

Easy to use software
The system is very easy to use.
When users change their Address or enter their Address information for the first time (i.e. - first time filers), you should display a Warning message if they enter their name in the "Care Of" field; as the CRA will block sending the CRA Code until the user calls in and confirms the Mailing address.

filed for deceased
it was more complicated and unclear than past online tax company i have used. but my fave wasn't available this year so i tried turbo tax from friend recommendation.
it got the job done for my personal use.
a bit insensitive though as far as filing for deceased. some questions asked were for future plans and some questions would not let me leave without answering "in 2022 has will or has anything changed for you" under the "lets take a moment to get ready for next year" closest options where :
other/i am not sure yet
no major changes this year!
it was the explanation point the got me on the last one.. like i am excited about no changes in the death of my child
it wasn't an option to opt out of so i chose other.
yes i am over sensitive and the company should have a default for filing for a deceased person. leave out the future planning question, also it questions you as if you are the deceased answering.

Convenient and simple
It can be tricky to find specific forms or lines, but overall easy to use. I haven't had any issues in the last few years that I've used it. Definitely recommend.

Easy to use for free
TurboTax was intuitive and easy to use. That being said, I couldn't figure out how to file for prior tax years or where to put daily employment expenses without a T2200 or T2200S form.

User Friendly & Fast
I love Turbo Tax! The system is pretty user friendly and all of my other questions could have been answered if I had simply switched to a Self-Employed version of the software. Because I didn't have funds for that, I just had to muddle through it on my own. However, the search was very useful in finding where to put things and I love that I can log into the CRA and have it fill in any forms that are there.

CLEARLY MENTION submission status!!
Really useful program, especially the ease of stock purchases. That part is great. However, I realized my taxes were NOT SUBMITTED by the deadline as I thought they were because I got a receipt... Why would I get a receipt confirming a "purchase" when they were not submitted yet? There should be a CLEAR MESSAGE that they weren't submitted yet! This stuff is a big deal and no one should get in trouble because of an easily avoided mistake like this one.

It's so easy and free, to boot!
I've used Turbo Tax Free for the past 4-5 years to file my husband's and my personal taxes, our son's, our daughter and son-in-law's and a personal friend's taxes, as well. I love how easy it is to use and you can't beat the price - unless someone actually PAID you to use it. Thanks for offering a free version, Turbo Tax. We pay so much, in taxes to begin with, that a free program to file them feels like such a great 'break'.

Still My go to Product
Have been using QuickTax / TurboTax for years (more than 15) and still like the accessibility to forms and it gets easier with auto fill. This year my BACK button eased me into the new format, don’t be scared of using it. The only thing that I got hung up on was the payment part - but as filled it out the amount owing was “0” so IT WAS FREE AFTR ALL - I’m a senior and not a large amount of info to record.

Good for those with basic needs
I found this easy to use because I don't have a lot of information to add, but there were a few things I had to search for because the program skips through the list. For those who have lots of assets or anything to claim or declare, it might be difficult to find where to enter all your info. If you're not very computer-literate it would be best to use another more detailed program, pay for TurboTax premium, or just go to a professional in person.

Solid Product
