Easy to use
I file very simple taxes for myself, and have used turbotax for several years. It has been great and reliable, and makes things very straightforward!

Turbo Tax Review
Hi,
The software is easy to use and flows well. Being able to get all the income T4/RL1 information from the CRA website is amazing and makes it so much easier.
There is a bug in the car page, you can't get out of it without completing the form.
There might be something to gain from outlining best practices or useful information for small landlords like myself. For instance, I did not know how to ask for a deduction for the price of the rental property when I bought it in 2021 and it would have been much better to ask it. Other tips for small landlords or small business owners would be worth a lot of money down the line for us.

2025 Tax Return Canadien
I use two Turbo Tax Products - One for the US and one for Canada. Both of them are easy to use and pretty straightforward. The US one is easier to find the data and edit, but one can get back to the Canadien section of the tax data to edit. I have to be familiar with the tax terminology from both countries and it takes me a little more time to understand the Canadien terminology, but Canadien Turbo Tax is very good. Since I am not as familiar with the Canadien side as the US, terminology was always a challenge, and there are slight differences between both countries. Turbo tax did a great job on explaining both sets of terminology.

Accessible and Easy to Use
TurboTax is straight forward and easy to use. I found it much better than other options available online. There are various plans to select, including a free option, and I've used their video help service before and found it very useful for my small business taxes. As a student, I appreciated the discount option available in the past, and how easy it was to get all my information, such as grants, sent to TurboTax from a CRA login.

Helpful and Easy
As a semi-retired person who works part-time and also consults with my own business, doing my return the first time with all those factors was much simpler than I expected. Steps were logical and clear.
