THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE WITH THIS IS THAT TURBOTAX HAD ME WITH A $75 RETURN. CRA ASSET IT AS I OWE OVER $2,000

Great program
I've used TurboTax for many years. I hate doing taxes, but it is almost pleasant with TurboTax. All areas are covered and it's difficult to make a mistake. For around a hundred bucks I can do my personal taxes and my wife's business taxes. NetFile is flawless. We had our refunds less than two weeks after submission in early March. I'd be in a real pickle if I ever lost access to TT.

TurboTax erased my anxiety
I don't know why I was feeling insecure this year because I have always used TurboTax to complete my return. I had a compassionate, pleasant online assistant to help me over a bumpy spot at the beginning and it was clear sailing after that! I liked the upgrades to the questions which facilitated the process mightily! (I still haven't figured out how to expense the cost to my self-employed income, but no biggie) Well done, Turbo Tax - 2023 income tax is in my rear view mirror!

So Reliable!
I tried using Genutax in 2023 for my 2022 Tax Filing and I found it so clunky and awkward. Although Turbo Tax is no longer free for low-income self-employeds, I returned to it for my 2022 Tax Filing. So for my 2023 Tax Filing it was my obvious go-to choice. So glad for Turbo Tax.

Best Purchase Ever
Turbotax is so easy to use and provide relevant and helpful tips on tax changes and savings all the way through each tax section as well as at the Review stage. The fact that you can get straightforward answers to your questions from tax experts - some who were even former Auditors for the CRA - is such a timely manner ( no waiting for 2 hours on the phone to get an "Im not certain let me escalate and arrange a call back.." from a CRA customer service agent) is a huge strength. I recommend it to everyone!

Made doing taxes almost fun!
I enjoyed the process for the first time ever and completed it all in just a few hours. The hardest part was gathering together all the information I needed to input. Once I had done that, using the program was a breeze!

taxes made easy
Finding all the credits. some things are not so self explanatory and the discussion is very helpful. the review notes are helpful too. It doesn't carry forward into your next years return the cost of itself. so make sure you save a copy of the receipt.

Continually impressed
This continues to be an excellent value and makes tax prep very easy. My only complaint would be that there is no way to see the detailed tax forms behind the screens, which I found very helpful in the downloaded version of the app.

Felt Cheated by Turbo Tax
When I started the filing process on March 7, 2024, the price quoted was $60 less 20%. I decided to file today April 29, 2024, the price has increased to $65 less 20%. The $5 increased (with my wife return x2=$10+GST) is UNACCEPTABLE. I will not use Turbo Tax again next year if the amount overcharged is not refunded to me. I will also post this comment on my multi media accounts.

Filing my own taxes with the best consultant
My uncle used to do my taxes but a couple of years ago he passed away. I knew taxes were complicated to figure out and that mistakes could be costly. At the same time I knew they were something I could learn to do on my own. What I was missing was the framework that could get me there. TurboTax was that and more. Plenty of help in the murky areas while willing to let you skip things that don't apply. Plenty of helpful warnings if it notices something but willing to let you say skip it and leave you alone. I've used it two years in a row and my filings have been getting easier and my returns have gone up year over year. Very happy to be where I am having tried TurboTax rather than go down the street to a tax office and paid double or triple.

Express NOA differs from Netfile's tax amount due. Netfile didn't record Total Ont. non-refundable tax credits - line 61500?
Also Netfile didn't record line 48600 - Payment on filing. What is this?
