Turbo 2023
A very good product, especially if you filed with them previous years. I would like to see my actual tax return as I go thru but I realize Turbo Tax withholds that until the end to ensure payment . I also have a huge issue with T5008s. Last year Turbo told me if you have more than 500 T5008s, your T slips will not download from My CRA. This year I had only about 250 T5008s and none of my T slips would download. I did spend a lot of time on with CRA about this issue and dealt with a really wonderful person for about an hour. I also dealt with a really wonderful technical help person at Turbo who also spent about an hour with me and didn't just slough me, and eventually acknowledged that the issue lay with Turbo Tax. Other Tax Programs will sometimes not download if there are many T5008s, but will download your other T slips. I appreciated her honesty in the matter and she suggested I write this review when finished with my tax return.

Great but small bugs
Used Turbo Tax for years. Always easy. Taxes done in 1 night. The ability to pull all your tax slips direct from CRA speeds things up and avoids data entry errors. So smooth. Only 2 things to watch out for.
1. Downloading from CRA is always clunky because it wants you to log in, log out, then hit the button. For each and every person in the filing. But it only adds 5-10 minutes so no biggie.
2. This year the warnings and suggestions seemed odd. Neither of us are old enough to have prior filings from 1972 to claim but the program seemed to think we should make sure.

License issue
I have been using your product for years. This year was terrible. I am unable to purchase a multiple license for online and because I needed to use the premier edition for our taxes this year you now want $40 for each of my families simple returns.

Taxes become almost enjoyable
I tried other software but Turbotax is so simple that I keep coming back. Being guided through the process in plain language and step-by-step, I am confident that I haven't forgotten anything and that I have claimed everything I can. Filling in the information is almost fun but it is still taxes.

Every year I am astounded by the stupidity and inefficiency of the CRA, but TurboTax reliably makes the process faster, easier, and gets me a bigger return than doing it myself or using a free service like studio tax. Cannot recommend enough!

Incredible software, incredible value
Overall great tool. I had both a salary and was self employed and Turbo Tax made everything extremely simple. Got me a massive return, and it LITERALLY took me like 20 minutes to do.
