Helpful for newcomers
Coming from a country where filing federal taxes wasn't a thing; Turbotax's intuitive and good value service definitely gave me peace of mind that I wasn't missing any deductions and/or making any mistakes.

Turbo Tax is tops!
Everything of the system is just fine. It bothers me that I was not allowed to change the Self Employed setting, once I selected it. It never came back to tell me what I selected. At the end I noticed I made a mistake, did not use any of the self employed issues.

Couple's Tax
My only complaint/concern with Turbo Tax is I pay the Self Employed rate for my wife's return. She has 1 T4 for her taxes

Change in turbo tax
Premium turbo tax was changed to Self-employed turbo tax this year due to my rental property.. Rental property was always incorporated in Premium in previous years. Fee was now doubled.

Always simple, always inexpensive
I'm grateful that I learned to do my taxes longhand, well before the internet. And knowing what I know I think makes it easier to get through taxes. TurboTax makes is so much simpler even and I am grateful. Always a hint or two that I would of otherwise NOT known about since tax law changes all the time.

Easy and Stress-free
I have used Turbo Tax for several years. The changes this year make it even easier to use, even for a relatively complex joint return with self-employment. I ran into a glitch and it was handled live by a representative, quickly, personably and effectively.

Simple and Helpful Experts when you need them!
I wanted to be able to take charge of my refund and learn what all went into doing my taxes. Turbo Tax made it a breeze, even my situation was complicated (I live in the US but run a business in Canada and I'm a Canadian) I was able to file jointly with my husband all by following the steps. I only needed to consult one of the online experts once and they were so thorough and helpful! I feel very confident about doing my taxes now and I'm so glad I can do it myself.

Good but not perfect
Entered my information and on review I missed some. Turbo would not let me enter the missing information and sent in the wrong return. I had do another return. I got it right but had to pay again! Could not efile and had to mail in my return.

Pricing is starting to gouge - got the exact same product as last year, but I am forced to upgrade to a higher end version due to rental income (which is okay, whatever), but I'm also forced to do the same for my wife's filing even though she doesn't have any extra income.

Easy to Use and Value for $
I've been using Turbotax for as long as I can remember, and it's been very helpful. The best part of Turbotax, which I find particularly helpful is that it saves my tax information, and therefore filling in the new tax information is very easy and saves time.

Love the live meeting
I had trouble with some errors, so I chose live telephone assistance. James called me a set up a screen share meeting. We got my taxes done so quickly, and it was almost painless. He had great advice and was easy to work with. He even had suggestions to make next year go even smoother. Great experience, I would do. it again. I have been filing with TurboTax for years, but I would definitely recommend the live phone call!

2023 TurboTax Review
I have used TurboTax for a number of years. This is a very good product. It is for the most part straightforward and easy to use. They do a good job of guiding a non-financial Canadian through the contorted Income Tax Act and associated regulations. Overall, Intuit has done an excellent job with this program. I would definitely recommend it and will be using it again..

By using Turbo Tax you are in total control of filing your tax return. You can take your time. I personally do mine over the period of a week or so. I love that it lets you know the balance as you go, that way you can decide if you want to purchase RRSP's, adjust medical etc. to give you the best return.
I use it every year.

Online Tax filing made easy
We've been using turbotax online for over 6 years in self employed, employed and retired status. It is simple to use and easy to access so you don't have to complete it all in one go. There are options for additional support but they do seem expensive relative to the basic cost of using turbotax. Other than that it's a great product.

awesome software
I have always paid an accountant to do my tax return but my neighbour told me that Turbotax makes it easy to do. I was worried that my investment forms would make it complicated but it wasn't too bad. So glad I decided to try it (and frustrated that I paid my accountant so much over the past years)!
