Improved EasyStep Interface
I have been using TurboTax (and before that QuickTax) for many years. I find that the 2018 version is the best yet. The easy step guide is very intuitive and now there is an easy way to find forms using a search tool.
One complaint: I have a forestry deduction in Quebec that TurboTax does not prompt me for but the schedule was easy to find. Too bad last year's data on this form was not carried over.

Turbo Tax Home and Business
I have used this system for 6 years now and I have not regretted it ever since I started. All instructions are clear and easy to follow.and the system is always updated to match all new changes in the Canadian tax system. The most important part is that I get to control the process and time in which I can complete my return without any incremental charges for an extra time.taken to prepare the tax.

Excellent purchase
I have used Turbo Tax for many years and found it to be a very worthwhile purchase. Rather than pay a tax professional I learn about my tax situation myself. It does not hurt to know more about your taxes!

Keeps getting better
Easy to use, Big improvement in interface with CRA. Ability to have turbo tax file directly without intermediate file.
The program needs to improve "print version for your own records". It Prints many Information pages that are irrelevant and should be deleted.

2018 Turbo Tax
I have used this software for several years and have tried others but find this is the easiest to use. The layout is great with the slips, receipts and forms areas are easy to find without having to scroll through a bunch of forms you don't use. I like that it carries your used forms over to the next year so they are right there for you.
I would highly recommend this software for anyone from the new user to the more experienced.

Download Too Complicated
I tried to use the SW download directions provided in the SW package. The website address was wrong! After I got some help, the process was still not intuitive. Eventually I managed to get the SW downloaded and installed. The process needs some serious attention. Other SW providers have much better systems. That's unfortunate because your package is very good and highly recommended.

Don't do taxes any other way!
I have been using the software for many, many years (it has changed names 3 times, and I used to install it off a pile of diskettes...)
Rarely had an issue with the software. Most returns (I prepare about 10 per year for friends and family) are relatively easy and with this tax software very quick to complete. I do find that there could be some situations where there are less questions, or a different presentation so there are less pages in the profile for example. There are other small 'gotchas' I came across this year that should be reported, but this is not the place to do so.
Again, great software and would not want to do my taxes without it.
