Great Program
I would say that Turbotax is an excellent program and using turbotax with the professional review is a great way to save money.
I and my wife are self-employed and the home and business program works well for quite complex tax returns.
I find sometimes its not intuative to go back and forth inside the program but I'm not sure if that has much to do with turbo tax and more to do with the tax process overall

Long time user
I just seem to return to Intuit, year after year. It has proven time and again to the most helpful of any program I have tried. I have used, as a senior, a good number of programs, and am most happy with Intuit.

Helpfeatures
Sometime the help feature does not show up in a way that relates to the are that you are working on. Also. it seems that there are less links and connection to CRA on specific topics.
When asking if you want to sign for online alerts, there should be an option for those who have already signed in previous years

whew!
taxes are painful but turbo tax simplifies everything. the best part was the free online support I received when I did not understand. They were very patient and knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was talking about when I was explaining my problems. I looked into using an accountant but buying turbo tax saved me about $200 and the accountant wanted me to do all his paperwork for him so all he had to do was enter it. In the end I wouldn't have saved any time by using an accountant!

Better Than In-Person Tax Services
This is probably my 8th or 9th year using Turbo Tax. I've always had really good experiences and it keeps getting easier. There was even an instance last tax year where I was doubting some complex income inclusions and consulted an in-person tax expert, I came to find that Turbo Tax had directed me and got my maximum refund correct to the penny.

Another Painless Submission
As a long-time TurboTax user I continue to be impressed with the ease-of-use and overall quality of TurboTax. I would hate to go back to manual prep & submission. It handles all my forms for my small farming operation and catches things I might miss.

I have used TurboTax for many years and for all types of returns - those working, those who are retired, business, students - you name it. It is so easy to use. It asks for some general information at the start and depending on the answers, it brings up only the screens/forms you need to complete. Lots of help right at your fingertips. I would highly recommend this product.

Great support
I had some complications with getting info together for 2016 taxes - something about a bird arising from the ashes and this particular bird took a LONG time to rise - don't ask. Despite frustrations, I managed to get it done, and only a year late, with support from Turbo tax, actually managed to get it filed. All in all, a huge success.

I Came Back
I had used QuickTax/TurboTax for decades but a couple of years ago thought I would try a different, cheaper software package. I was so used to the Turbo Tax format that I was unable to navigate through their instructions and because I was under pressure to complete the tax return, rushed out and purchased the Turbo Tax package at full price. Paying full price for anything is something I rarely do so obviously I realized that the cheapest item on the shelf is not always the best buy!

T2125 Form for Partners
I would really LOVE to see a 'self-populating' button which would automatically 'fill-in' each partners Business expenses at their percentage of the partnership.
It is SO frustrating to manually enter all the same information twice and then discover that the expenses do not match, as I missed entering a number correctly.
This year I spent approximately three hours finding a simple error. ARRGH!!
How about it TurboTax will 2017 be the year?? Or is it possible??

I love it.
I have been using this program (or its predecessors) since 1998. I find it easy to use, full of helpful informaiton, and the best way to do taxes if you do not need a high level Tax Accountant. It does not replace good advice, but it is great for most of us.

Good Value - Small Business
TurboTax Home and Business was the ideal product to complete tax returns for my home consulting business, family's returns and final return for my mothers estate this year. Overall, the software covered everything I needed including tips and information, and the cost was very reasonable.

Have been using TurboTax and QuickTax for 11 years. Never any issues, good support. Audit Defense is invaluable - highly recommended if you have any level of complexity. I used for audit on small business. Saved me thousands of potential back taxes.

Excellent tax software
I am a dedicated user of this product, using it each year. Having utilized other s/w, this one has proven, while more expensive, to be more intuitive and complete. I highly recommend using TurboTax products. I have used the T2 tax s/w as well and am just as happy with that and would recommend anyone to use that as well.
