Solid Product
I have been using QuickTax/TurboTax since 1997 and have found it to be the best and most convenient way to file my taxes. Other tax software and online offerings have come about which I have briefly looked into and yet TurbTax still stands out as the winner with the years of feedback and insight from Intuit's users. I continue to use TurboTax to this day.

DOS Beta to 2012
Have used this software from QuickTax original DOS version to current 2013 version. Keeps getting better. I would hate to go back to paper.

Easy to Use!
TurboTax is extremely easy to use and definitely worth the money spent! My returns have always been accurate -- and I didn't spend too much time nor money on getting them done.
I recommend this product to anyone that has regular employment income or is self-employed.

Easy to Work With!
We use Turbo Tax for both personal income tax preparation and also for our small business. We've been using this program in its various editions ever since 2007 and find it easy to use and the features are intuitve when working through the various steps in preparing our taxes.

Excellent Value for the Money

Nuances
It was good to see that TurboTax 2011 imported all info. to TurboTax 2012, even the undepreciated amounts of class 12 items.
IE: In 2011, I had tools in class 12 which the software allowed a 50% deduction for. I thought that items under $500 could be fully deducted. However, I made a note of these items for 2012 and saw that I did not have to make a special entry myself for the other 50%, as the software did this for me.
There are still some glitches however. I use the QuickSteps method (as can be noted from the above). The software asked if I had any "Liability" deductions to which I entered my value. However, I have both Liability coverage and Personal coverage and did not know for sure if the Personal coverage should have been included. I thought we would get to that later, but as luck would have it there were to other deductions. I tried to go back to the Liability section but there was absolutely no way I could do this, except to revert to the "Forms" method. I read that switching between Quicksteps and Forms could corrupt the data.
As a result, I will now have to keep these deductions till next year.
There should be a way for QuickSteps to take a person back to the section he/she requires to change.
Other than that, I find TurboTax easy to use, but on the pricey side, compared to other software packages.
Also, when it launches the browser, it should let the computer on which it is working use the default browser, not Internet Explorer.

Massive Load Off Our Minds
This software basically saves me the yearly headache of calculating all this stuff manually. Its cross-linked forms, subforms, worksheets, and business reporting features are IMO the gold standard for tax preparation. I have, and will, continue to buy this product until they price it out of my ability to pay.
Also, Intuit is a customer of my employer. I have nearly limitless faith in my own product, with which they build their products. The multiple sources of trust I have for their tax software products are as a result very reassuring.

Easy to use, with expert advise and tips as you prepare your own return. Typical Q & A's as well as online chat assistance or help a phone call away.
Follow the easy steps process and or switch over to forms and back again as you go thru the process. Track your total refund or payment as a running total at the top of the screen as you enter each and all of your income and deductions. File your return online to CRA with detailed assistance to be sure it is accurate and meets the requirements of CRA. Receive your refund within 8 business days via direct deposit.

Go to Forms
While I'm waiting for all the receipts from different sources, I can “Go To Forms” and enter information manual to help estimate my RRSP contribution. Then just before net filing I choose EasyStep to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

Trustworthy & Accurate
I have been using Quick Tax/Turbo Tax for 3 years. It is really easy to use. I trust the progam completely and it is very accurate. You can also purchase Audit Defence for a reasonable price, which is excellent for piece of mind in case of an audit. I will continue to purchase Turbo Tax for years to come!!
