Easy but inflexible
This product is easy to use but does not have the flexibility to share the disability transfer credit - so I have to print it out and modify it in order to actually file it!
It also wouldn't print the new Climate Action Incentive Schedule with the rest of the schedules -- I had to find it and print it myself.

Some versatility
I like that it does quite a few schedules especially needed for small businesses, investors, medical expense summary, Donation summary etc. . The ability to override values is the one I find most useful and the main reason I use TurboTax.

Worth Using
Using the first time not totally intuitive. Some areas such as CCA hard to find. Phone support is pretty good. Did not explain that medical expenses that could not be used will be carried forward. Like the feature of remembering previous years filing info and auto inputting.

Turbo Taxuator!!! thanks!
This was a great product to assist us with our home office, rental income and family income. We rated it 4 stars as some of the areas of these were misleading and confused us in the the entry process.
We followed up with Turbo Tax Review from a PRO. This was the 5 star portion that was worth EVERY PENNY!!!! The Tax pro assisted with clarifying our mistakes, and reviewed our return line by line to eliminate our errors.

Easy to Use Product
Have been using Turbo Tax for the last 3 years. Pretty user-friendly but could've had more options for Home and Business submissions, for 4, for 6 ...don't like to overpay for 12 files if have a self-employed business and only 3 files to submit.

Excellent product
TurboTax home and business is very user friendly. There are many reminders for possible deductions to help you maximise your tax savings. I particularly like the rental property features in this package. Submitting your income tax is very fast and easy, and the price is very reasonable.

Not Bad
An easy to use program. It walks you through the steps. The only downfall is for professionals and home-based businesses the price is pretty steep for one return.

It's aimed at simple taxreturns
I find this package pretty difficult to enter information in bulk. I have a lot of capital gains/loss plus dividend information to enter. The input system is clunky and does not allow bulk cut and paste into things like Schedule 3 and T5008 (the latter is very clunky). It really is aimed at the casual simple T4 guy and seems to be getting more so :-(

Error Message
At the end when I was trying to NetFile, I received an error message about electing to not contribute to CPP. When I clicked on the message, it took me to T4A(P). There is no where on the T4A(p) to go through correcting the error message. The help menu was not helpful and I had to do a lot of my own searching to find how to fix the error.

Used the prgm for years
As usual TT was helpful and made things much easier. Links with CRA are brilliant. When splitting income with spouse, the inclusion of an "Optimizer" or a statement in the provincial section, by TT would help decide who should clain the tax benefit

Has minor glitches
This is the first year I have used TurboTax Home and Business. I have only used TurboTax Standard before. I did not find Home and Business worth the extra cost. Some of the questions asked did not cover all the options and tended to lead you astray. For example for my wife's business the questions regarding advertising only covered media. It did not ask about catalogues which are a legitimate advertising expense but the questions gave a false answer that she had no advertising expense because she did not use any of the traditional media for advertising. Also some of the forms used to tabulate charitable donations and interest sources are not included in the PDF version of my taxes. This makes it hard to follow where the numbers come from. If I try to print out these pages separately, I am charged for using an extra return.

Like Standard
I prefer the standard version of Turbo Tax. My daughter this for her use and we filed mine and my wife`s on it too. I have used the standard for years but they all get updated every year. Maybe it`s just me.

TRAVEL CONSULTANT
Carry forward is basically the only reason I still use Turbo Tax. Had an error fix comment this year about a conflict between business and T4 received for the business w/ no real explanation on how to fix. Took 24 pages to print my wife's and 44 for mine. Too many!

Pretty Good
I have used this product for years, and will continue to do so.
When things don't totally make sense to me, I find it can be quite difficult to check them. Using the Forms option helps. This year, I distrusted the calculation of medical deductions, but was not able to assure myself.
The software got cranky near the end of my session, sending me error messages about being unable to save. After I Netfiled my return, I could not save the final file. I had to reboot and make use of the backup file, which meant that I lost the last part of my work..
I think that the second Netfile was the same as the first, (About the same and not much worse.)
