Good Bang for your bucks
I have been using TurboTax for over 15years now. it is a good value for money. There were some bugs in the Turbo tax Home and Business version.

Cost of Ordering Turbo Tax
I believe Turbo Tax is a very good and comprehensive program and does a good job. My only concern is the cost of Turbo Tax compared to the Free tax programs that can be gotten for nothing and has good results.

Great Product
We have used TurboTax Home and Business for several years now. Works very well for pension income splitting and for a small business set up as sole proprietor. Would definitely recommend.

Easy as ABC123
TurboTax 2018 is very user friendly and as long as you have all your paperwork in front of you it is super easy to complete. I have used TurboTax for years and will continue to do so,

Doesn't play well with Windows firewall
You have to disable your windows firewall to update and netfile.
Also, if using on a Mac with Parallels desktop, the Netfile portion of the process is quite buggy

Home & Business Turbotax
The Home and Business turbotax was easy enough to use. I was a bit confused as to how to enter my business information details as I couldn't see all the pages just the ones that popped up as I went through so I ended up going back and making corrections to get things in the right spots. Also, there was no way to enter the "In Home Office" expenses without the Gst (I had them separated out on my accounting program for Gst purposes already so the Income and Expense statement was correct) so I had to take and add all the gst back in to make the info correct for the program. Would be nice to have an option for this part.
Other than that it wasn't too bad. Rest was easy enough for the personal parts.

Good purchase, some bugs
Works really well. Easy Mode is great.
1) Easy to go from Easy Mode to Form View, but not easy to flip back from Form View to Easy Mode.
2) If you were Windowed, the system has a bug at the end that prevents E-Filing. It displays error in Marital Status stating you cannot be single and have spouse income information, but in the year of passing, you have to report them. The error messages says you cannot e-file due to a conflict in a 'Single' Marital Status with Spouse income, but 'Widowed' was entered, not 'Single'. Researched and there is no workaround published for the software, so we will need to print & mail in the return...

I feel that for the most part I could get around but pages that I booked marked I could not find easily the next day so quite often I had to through many pages to get back to where I wanted to put in an amount

More help features needed
Turbo tax could improve their help items. Several boxes that I put the cursor in did not have a help item/ line description in detail. It was disappointing to have to find the CRA website to look up Office Expenses versus the newer Office Stationary and Supplies. This happened on several lines for me where there was no information or very little information given in Turbo Tax.

Pretty good software
The program on the whole is very user friendly and effective. However on my 2015 return halfway through the year my marital status changed and I claimed my daughter as a dependent. I was re-assessed and now owe more than 3K as the CRA counts the whole year as though she was not my dependent. I wish the software had picked this up.

Great Tax Software
Great tax software. Keeps track of things, calculates and enters data for you. Great time saver.
However, the CPP optimizer didn't work and it could use more left side bar links.

Reasonably easy to use for regular returns. A bit more complicated if you are self-employed. Had difficulty changing info when I put it in the wrong box. More guidance about where to put deductions would be helpful.

Where is the UNDO button?
Once you make an entry or modify a field, there is no easy to go back an undo the change. This has caused much time wasted trying to find the entry in the "forms" format to locate and \undo the change that was made.

Why NOT Mac
You made me use a Windows PC when I own the top model of Mac laptop. I do NOT want to use online for 6 returns. Year after yr I ask this same question. If another company offers it you will lose me after 20 yrs!!! Hurry!!!

Confused
I have been using the product for several years and in the past have always found it to be easy simple to use and a good value. This year however I found it to be somewhat less easy to use and somewhat confusing. For example, at one point it showed my basic personal exemption to be twice what it should have been. Later, that was corrected, but when I tried to put in some of the tax savings tips my potential refund actually decreased. All of this led me to lose confidence in sending in my return.

A conprehensive package
I have used TurboTax, and its predecessor QuickTax since the mid 90's. I depend on it for completeness and accuracy, which it has provided unfailingly. I would give it 5 stars, except this year I found the T form auto-complete a little confusing. I actually thought I was missing one until I delved further into the completion of my return. I recommend that a popup window display a summary of what was downloaded from the CRA site, simply for peace of mind.

Good - but needs work on CCA
Great tax software - but: the Business expenses need two improvements (1) for spouses that are 50/50 business partners - the software should give the option to 'COPY' the income and expenses to the spouse, and (2) the CCA pages need work - I always have to manually adjust the rows and some of the calculations - this should be fixed by now! Otherwise, good

Great many years running
Have used the product for many years. Like that I can allow family and friends to use as well. Helpful hints; I should do my taxes earlier to be able to use several of the valuable resources included (optimize RRSP, sharing items with spouse). Great value.

Very useful. Did my first ever self-employed professional return without any professional accountand or bookkeeper help. Didn't find the online chat help much use. Who has time to wade through all those posts so find an answer to a specific question? It was easier just to phone rev Canada and ask them.
