FUSTRATED TURBOTAX MODEL
In previous turbotax software , the standard version allows self employment income reporting. The 2020 version is different & requires the business version to report self employment income. The cost difference is minor approx 35$ for the standard and $110 for the business version.
I tried numerous ways to contact Turbo tax for the change in business model but to no avail. How do I get information in the future

so Easy to use

Best Purchase Ever
I purchased this software as we have regular employment income and self-employment income and a somewhat complicated return. I have now used this product for 2 years and it takes my worry away that I haven't done my taxes correctly.
I have even looked at their other products for our small businesses excellent for us. grateful for products like this to help

Only Software I have ever used
Turbo Tax is easy to understand, picks up errors and offers tools for couples to determine if Pension Income Splitting is beneficial and best way to claim medical and charitable. Has always been accurate.

A very useful Tax Preparation Program
In 2001 a friend showed me 'QuickTax' which I tried out. Ever since then I used this tax preparation software, including after the program name changed to 'turbotax' in 2010. Each year 'turbotax' seems to be easier to use.

Easy to use & confident in guidance provided
Math was never my thing - more of a creative, intuitive type. Needed software that asks the right questions to get the necessary correct information and just fill in the blanks. Only disconnect was with CRA connections - doesn't always work (and that's not a TurboTax issue - completely on the CRA side)

The home business was fairly easy to use but wanted to make sure I had input the information correctly. I purchased the assist and review at the end and was glad I did.
