Have used for many years
The software improves a bit more each year and is great for users who don't want to manually calculate their own returns. (Used to do that for many years.) I use Turbo Tax for my personal and my consulting business returns. It's not perfect or glitch-free, but beats doing it via forms with a pencil and eraser. The interface is clean and easy to use, though sometimes a bit confusing to get from one form to another if you need to make a specific change. I know my required form numbers, so it's manageable if a bit cumbersome. For new users or those unfamiliar with the forms or are not tech savvy, they may have to click through the wizard back or forward to get to where they want to go, but they'll get where they need and still save time over manual calculations. Overall, great product, improved only by some navigation tweaking for new or tech-unsavvy users.

Good Tax Software
Fairly easy to use. Sometimes you can get lost trying to navigate. Good idea to use bookmarks as you go along.

Help Search is terrible
The help search is terrible. Almost impossible to find what you are looking for. The form lookup is terrible as well. You need to add some intelligence to that side of the application. It is like using an application from the 1990's

Some issues this year
After using and filing 3 returns; it instructed me to uninstall the program and reinstall.
Also after I had to reinstall, I had to reinsert the disc for it to be able to net file and print the fourth return?
This has never happened previous years.

One hiccup
The handling of the sale of a personal residence is not well handled yet. Had to get a tech to walk me through it , but he was there for me. Good save!

Easy to Use
As a self employed person with a pension, this program did provide the most advantageous suggestions to mitigate my taxes. I have received support when requested. The only drawback experienced is in finding specific line items when queried in the help section, this needs to be cleaned up.

Good Product Could Be Better
I have purchased Quick/Turbo Tax in various forms for several years now, and have found it to be the best tax software on the market.
My only real gripe is when navigating between pages, it would be so much easier to have "back" and "continue" buttons at the top of the page, rather than just the bottom.
It's a small complaint, but would make it easier, especially on the CCA pages. Thank you.

How do you duplex print? Printer is set to do this but Turbo Tax over rides this and prints only on one side.

T2125 needs to be shown as option
Again this year the Easy program did not give a distinct option to use T2125 BFS income & expense statement.
It leads you to self employed with expenses when T2125 is the correct way to complete the return.
Spent needless time removing information and restating in a slightly different format in T2125
You Need to Fix this

Great Program
I have been using Turbo tax for many years(5+). I have been through audits and never had any problems. Taxes get easier and easier each year. I love this program and they are making it better each year and that's great news for me.

Solid Product Every Year
I purchase TurboTax Home & Business each year to complete my business tax return and my families returns. The software makes it easy to manage carryforwards and reduces time entering the same information from last year. And the help information has been useful to clarify some of my accounting questions. The only complaint I have is the price should be about 30% lower.

LESS AUTOMATED THAN PREVIOUS YEARS
I have used Quicktax and TurboTax since the 1990's. This year for some reason many of the "features" I have come to like so well in the Review process was far more confusing and less automated. I really miss the smooth transition from simply inputting data to a finished product. Some sections in the Review I went over and over again, only to "Give Up" and did not fully realise potential Savings, which is the reason to use TurboTax in the first place.

Good Softwre, Needs 4K Support
I really like your software and have been using it for more year than I can remember. I was very disappointed this year that your software did not have 4K display support. Even with my resolution cranked way up, I had a really difficult time reading the instructions and fields. Please upgrade your software to have 4K support. I would rate Easy to Use as a 5 with 4K support.

Straightforward, but....
FIX re-direct wouldn't work for an error with foreign employment income, but I couldn't figure out how to fix the problem manually. Prevented Netfile completion. Ended up having to print & file by hardcopy.
Recall having a similar problem for 2014 Return due to foreign employment.
