Sugestions
I have used this program for many years and would recommend it. There is one thing I would really like to see addressed however. Throughout the process you are asked if you want to claim certain tax credits, GST, Age, Energy, etc. I would like some indication of income level to qualify for these credits so I don't waste my time applying if it is obvious that my income is too high to qualify.

Sugestions
For making entries e.g. medical prescriptions give the entry pages same facilities as Word or Excel so that name of doctor/dentist and patient can be "dragged" down to minimise repeated entry typing.

Filing a return for my husband, myself as well as my personal business seemed quite involved, but with the ease of TurboTax, I was able to complete all the returns, at my own business, with minimal stress (it is tax time, after all).

simple items
simple error checking - I mis-typed my CPP deduction amount - missed a digit - but with my Gross income, I would have thought TurboTax would have flagged a simple error like this - you really should fix this

Only Way I Would Do It
I have been doing my taxes on the computer since 1987. Mostly it has been harder than doing it on paper, but I like the accuracy of the arithmetic and the ease with which corrections can be implemented. And I always have to make corrections.
This year's Turbo-Tax was, I think, a little better structured, or maybe I'm getting used to it. I didn't go into the Forms view at all.
Many times during the completion of my returns (my wife & I) I could have wept over how slow the software moved. And it was the software, because the speed of familiar things (like my website and mail) was normal.
I am also seriously disappointed that there is not a Mac version yet. If a good Mac version makes itself known to me, I will switch brands. (I am self-employed and had read that the on-line version is difficult to use if your return is complicated, or you have to make corrections.)

Fairly good product
I've used this product for 4 years. I find that you don't really need the Home & Business version for a small self-employed business. I could find no real advantage to this higher priced version. I did find navigation a bit cumbersome.

Good Product
TurboTax is a good product.
I should have used the Flags option sooner to save time and avoid re-work using the EasyStep process, but live and learn.
Maybe a What's New? feature with the product would explain changes year over year (unless I missed it somewhere).

Turbo Tax Review
I have used Turbo Tax now for 5 years and find it very easy to use. The only thing I have trouble with is Capital Cost expenses and deductions. I don't understand it so I usually skip it. I am probably losing some valuable deductions.

Improved net filing
The most pleasant surprize was at the end--not having to enter a code and fill in info online in two steps as in previous years was a huge improvement. Quick!
Just be aware of your personal situation as not all form lines are prompted.

I like some of the new features this year, but was unable to find out how to print a copy of the year-over-year comparisons of the detailed tax summary, which I like to keep in my tax files. Also, I couldn't find a way to print the "Bottom Line" section this year

Great for Rentals & Small Businesses
Turbo Tax Home & Business worked very well for me. We have rental properties and homebased businesses. I was able to enter all the information in the proper places without any trouble. The program even made recommendations to change the amounts I claimed in medical and CCA for this year to make my return more efficient.
The only challenge I had was trying to find where to put medical travel expenses, which we are able to claim because we live so far from everything.
I do need to complete my return earlier than the June 15th deadline because there is no online support in June!
I plan on using TurboTax next year! The pro's are much greater than the con's!

Good but a bit buggy
The product is not fully tested and had some annoying glitches this year. This was the first time I encountered this, but it would have been enough for me to use another product next year had this been my first experience with the product.
In previous years I have not had these issues!

I think when you enter partners for business all the info you enter for one should transfer to the other at the percentage entered, so you don't have to do twice. Unless I am doing something wrong?!
