Needs better help regarding dependants
I ran into trouble when trying to figure out the proper procedures for entering my kids( minors) pert time employtment income. Couldn't find anything in the Tuyrbotax help or CRA's website. Ended up calling CRA to find out what to do about it and how to properly enter the data on our return. The help function shopuld include the part-time employed dependant info.

Program of Choice
I have used Quicktax/TurboTax for many years now and it is my tax program of choice. Have tried others and still use some but Turbo Tax is the simplest and most reliable I have found.

Easy to Follow

This is strictly a page setup comment.
The CONTINUE button should be in view of the user on each screen (just as the BACK button is in view). You shouldn't have to slide the screen over to see it and select it. It would cut out a step and make it much more user friendly.

nice
you should have some accounting background or experience to do this properly. I ask my accountant to look it over prior to submission. There is usually 3 or 4 things to fix prior to submitting.

2011 Panic!
As usual I found Turbo (Quick) Tax easy to use and helpful however this year we had pension income to deal with for the first time as my wife retired and it wasn't as intuitive and didn't catch our mistakes as in previous years.

Excellent but Mac OS X Not Supported
This is really excellent, useful software except for one fatal flaw: It only runs natively on Windows. Since there is nothing to compete with it, I am forced to buy Windows and install it on my Mac just for this one program that I run once a year. All other serious programs are cross-platform. I have many friends who do the same thing and make the same complaint. Please listen to your customers, Intuit!

Good Product but overpriced
I really like the Quicktax product. I have been using it every year since it came out. I do feel it has become overpriced. The few extra features of the "TurboTax Home and Business" don't add enough value over the standard version to warrant the price difference.

fairly straight forward to use ~ sometimes terminalogies are not what we are use to but is fairly easy to find and I love the flags you can use to go back somewhere if you forgot information and want to continue ~ big help!

very good, but...
Simple and easy to use but Tina the chat helper is annoying, doesn't really answer questions correctly. Lots of small contractors with same questions as mine but no real answers. Need to develop more help tips for the small, small business owners. Otherwise, it was a breeze to use, taxes done in half a day!

Good Program
Very easy to use. Only 1 issue with uploading Quickbooks to TurboTax. Seems to be a trend as I looked into it further. Hopefully it will be fixed by next year.

What about Mac's

Computer Switch
In the middle of tax season I switched computers. I had filed 4 returns before the switch. When I then tried to net file my return and my wife's Turbo Tax did not give the message "Prepare to Netfile" and then became non-responsive. It had transferred the files and was working well until then but I could not save in "tax" format and had to switch back to old computer - where the unsuccessful net file was counted against the limit. Other than that glitch everything worked well.

Do you have no income to report? Yes or No....
Stupid wording of the question.... Does two negatives mean a positive? or what exactly does it mean when I answer yes tot he question..... does that mean that I have no income to report or should I answer the question no to mean that I don't have any income to report......
