Confusing
Normally I find it easy to enter info and find the forms I need. Whatever changes were made this year certainly weren't helpful! Probably took me twice as long to find everything and get my info entered. Then I was asked redundant questions that really didn't apply. Hopefully you revert to your previous formats, because this one sucks.

the software included income I never received, over overstated my tax obligation, and would not allow me to make timely filing to CRA which will result in a penalty to me.

Using this for the first time for doing business taxes I found that it didn't give me the information I needed. When I asked an on line question, after 4 weeks, I still never received a reply. I will never use this program again for doing business taxes.

weird software
not cohesive for doing spousal stuff, you should be able to do one person, and then the next rather than trying to do multilple persons simultaniosly, it creates double the paperwork floating around. This years version wouldn't update and the software line descriptions didn't match up with the form descriptions.

Cumbersome
This product is cumbersome and seems archaic as a technological application of computers to accounting, but it is the only show that I know. For this reason I keep using it year after year and keep cussing the cumbersome nature of the product year after year. Please do not require a customer to reinsert their CD after the initial installation is complete!

Extreme Frustration
Case #:43085305: Turbo Tax determines which of the returns I had been preparing can be printed and net-filed. I had 4 returns in process for which I had printed nothing nor net-filed, and when I was ready to print and net-file the second return of a partnership, the program determined I was maxed out. Even though Turbo Tax downloaded a second program on my alternate laptop so that I could file that return, I had to completely re-enter all of the data for both partners before I could net-file. I had tried to load a second program on my alternate computer to process basic returns and it would not accept the program and actually cannibalized one of my 20 returns on the original program on my original computer. This tax season was a mess in spite of the tech support attempts to get this straight.

Not Great
Two Problems
-Every time I started TurboTax a screen popped up for auto-T4 slips and there was no way to turn it off, FYI, I do not want ANY pop-ups.
-I was doing my in-laws taxes, one had died in 2017. There was NO way to do Pension Income Splitting. I called TurnoTax and there was no good solution, I was better off doing their taxes by hand.

Why these Problems?
Easy to use and successful in 2016, but for 2017, big problem at the end. I could neither file through Netfile, nor print the returns for mailing. I am in now in a huge quandary, and I wish TurboTax provided contact information. I am badly in need of assistance.

This is becoming clunky and cumbersome
took longer to get started, had to read posts about sharing with friends on every return, ratings, and now you have to scroll to see continue on many screens.... I ended up doing a lot in the forms veiw to avoid the clunkyness.
Go back to older formats.......

Different results same numbers
We ended up having to do our taxes 3 times. Once it didn't save. And the 2 other times when entering the same numbers (straight from the saved copies) the results were different. Attempts to call for support were a waste. One time call was lost in a transfer. Another time the call back was way longer then indicated and we missed it. The time we talked to someone they couldn't help. We've used turbotax before but after this year never again.

Frustrating to use
If you have to revise an entry it is extremely difficult because if you try to enter a new number it considers it an "override" and invalidates the ability to file via NETFILE. The software is very inflexible unless you get everything right the very first time you make an entry. The only way to fix this is to get technical assistance for which you are charged a significant fee. Tech support should be free. .

Not as Good as Previous Years
I have used TurboTax since 2000 and have never had any issues. The 2017 Home & Business version proved to be difficult this year. I had done my wives and my return on Saturday and tried to Netfile on Monday when the service opened. They taxes were not to be found and the program crashed many times. I did my mothers return this evening and received errors messages and crashes again. This had never happened until this year.

problems Netfiling and getting rid of "warnings" i
At this point I will NOT RECOMMEND TurboTax because of probs trying to Netfile. Checked warnings and they continue to appear each review despite reviewing issues and then clicking "done with warnings". Also, my wife has both union dues and professional college dues but TT keeps stating this is an error/warning but continues to pop up on review. Can not Netfile as a circle and red bar shows for netfile and only choice is print and mail. I have used TT for many years with no prob so why this year? I checked for updates (none).

Print and file doesn't work
Unfortunately I am very disappointed this year.I was unable to send one of the returns because we were issued 2 separate t4's and only 1 R1 for the same company. Umm not able in any way to print a sendable return without a water mark. Finally I saved a PDF version and was able to print from there. All efforts to contact intuit for help failed. I consider myself experienced as I have used turbo a few times...just don't know how a newby would do it.

This product has lost value
Worst experience with Turbo Tax, which has gotten less friendly, as in no automatic saves of your data entered, unless you do it manually. It is clunky and slow under Windows 10 and the printing routines required a reload from the CD! All this is worse than ever before and I have used Quicken and Turbo Tax for 15 years! Both products have gone steadily down hill!

Better than a paper based form, but only slightly
Is convoluted and the program runs in circles. Nice easy yes and no buttons, not that it makes any difference which you push it sends right where you don't want to go anyway. Doing taxes is frustrating enough without the additional headaches of software that loops incessantly. If I really needed that kind of ridiculous frustration I will talk to my kids. Massive generic questions with the expectation of specific answers and questions for which there is no yes or no, but with the expectation of black and white. Next year I'm using an accountant, will pay twice as much but will get better value for my money.

This Years's Home and Business
I bought this version again this year so I could process my daughters' self employment taxes for 2 businesses. I have tried everything to get the T4A's to populate the 2 business and it won't. It will only create one business. First and second level of tech support was great, but now it has been escalated to a 3rd or 4th tier and I am waiting for a response as to how it can be fixed.

Your medical expense optimizer sucks.
It would automatically default to my husband because he had the lower income. But if the expenses were put to me, I had the higher income, it SAVED AN EXTRA $500 that we didn't have to pay to the tax man. So what gives. Your program wants me to pay more? Get it right.
your program was more difficult to navigate this year. Last years was better.

Alot of trouble
I had trouble registering the program that I purchased at the store. I contacted support and they could not trouble shoot the problem and find a solution. I have had difficulties filing as sometimes the program would stop working and leave me unable to netfile the taxes. This also happened with last year's version however, they were able to resolve it last year but not this year.

Added RETURNS
Bought another tax program as I had too many returns. Even though, I used a separate computer & separate programs (1 business & 1 standard), Turbo tax added the two programs together, thus, I did not have two separate programs, clients were added to one program instead of two. Not impressed.
