Software NEEDS Refreshing
I'm tired of this software. It becomes more lame each season.
It is tied to Internet Explorer (not my machine's default browser) which is lame.
The Wizard's one-dimensional use case seems inflexible and cumbersome prancing under the guise of tried and true. Unfortunately, using this software multiple times as all my documents arrive leaves me with the sense that I could save time filling out my forms manually and actually save time.
It's impossible to change the font size. Which means I have to change machine system settings to let others use the software.
This software really turns a chore into a bore.
Form submission software has changed over the past decade and it is time to move on. I know I am.

Cannot print
I find this product easy enought to use and it completes most of the tasks well, however, when I get to the end of the return I can never print the results from the program. I had to save the file as a PDF to print it and could not print the net file confirmation page.

Don't waste your money.
This is a horrible product/service. Every year it gets worse. The community advice is bogus - if you have a tax question, you should get an answer from a tax professional. While doing your taxes, you get inundated with advertising for their other services. They also collect information for what appears to be no other reason than getting free market research. This is AFTER I paid to use the software. They should be paying me if they want market data.

Info Hard To Find
Deciphering were one can place a deduction or income is not easy with this software. It was much easier in the earlier versions (2000-2007) of Quicktax than it is now. Unless you are an accountant who would know under which category a deduction or income should be placed with this software it will take you a long time to complete your tax return.

Whats with the printing feature?
Before the first update the print function wouldn't work. After the second update the print function wouldn't work. The program won't recognize my printer.

Cannot netfile
This was very disapointing as I could not netfile when I wanted to. I could not get any help as to why the selection keys were greyed out where I did not even get the choice to select it. To me this was why I had bought your product.

Optimizers????

The purchase of Busines version had poor value as the partner income was not split and required manual imput for all partners. What a waste of time. At the price of this software it should be complete.

Horrible Experience
I have been using Quicktax for years. I have never had a single technical problem.
This year Turbo Tax crashed constantly. I lost all my work several times. Even after getting tech support and reloading an older version, it was better for a while, but then again it kept crashing. Worse, I couldn't reload the file I had been working on and which was well in progress because it was considered a "newer version".
I had no choice, I had to update in order to Netfile but either way I got crash after crash. Even minimizing the screen caused a crash. Horrible horrible horrilble when one is already stressd trying to get a bunch o numbers crunched.

not robust enough
It falls far short to the US version when filing for a home or small business. Does not have enough room to enter all required information - as business assets purchased; does not roll over all of the previous year's information, requiring you to re-enter.

Didn't like Turbo Tax Home and Business
I found that the Standard Quick Tax (used last year)was better than the Turbo Tax "Home and Business" for my self-employment income. Turbo Tax didn't give me the opportunity to do the "Statement of Business or Professional Activities" (T2125) in the Easy Step part of the program. I had to go directly to that form to complete the information on it. Once you put in information in the Easy Step, even if you changed it later, it didn't change the information on the forms. I found this program very difficult to use and always liked Quick Tax.

Slow to Open
Opening Turbo Tax is a slow painful process. It seems to take about 10 minutes to open and there is no hour glass to show it is working so sometimes I try to open it more that once.
I have used the previous tax program for years but since these two have been merged this year you definately have a lot of work to do to iron out the kinks.

Terrible
Software was horribly glitchy. Tech support couldn't help. I signed up for the expert to help for an additional $75, still couldn't fix it. I had to fill out the forms manually to make it work.

ERRORS
There are errors in the software that Turbo Tax does not divulge to its customers. I wasted days trying to figure it out with the help of the support team and only after the 4th attempt was somebody able to tell me that the errors were in their software and it would eventually be corrected.

Huge problem with T3
I kept getting error and could not e file. after much research outside turbo tax , I found out you had to not use box 52, even though it was on turbo tax forms, should be in box 53. Then I found out you had to round and not put even .00. Then you had to do the same for box 21. No where was this sent to me as update or alert how to solve this major glitch. I found out on Reddit!!!

WORST PROGRAM EVER
Even the staff could not fix the error codes caused by information entered by intuit. Forced me to delete complete set of a combination farm, rentalsx3 and employment income for two. Forms not ready for program when purchased caused a glitch in my system and you could not update data entered by intuit to new data that was mandatory for file. Sent you around in circles. Would not let me print of a form to compare data entry for partners until i had completed the entire program for file. and if I did it would count as a file count. I could not even split the files on my computer screens to view. I had to continually go back and forth over and over again. Worst program

Worst year in 20 for Turbotax
I had major problems. I downloaded to my desktop but some fields were very difficult to enter. Checking boxes and entering numbers was very difficult. I literally had to close the program and reopen it to see if the box was checked or the number was entered because it wasn't appearing on my screen. This was a horrible, time-wasting experience this year. Please bring back the CD's. Thank you!

Terrible service on this product wasted a couple of weekends trying to file only to get error messages due to a poorly written tax program. Endless wait times to actually talk to someone from Turbo Tax with zero resolution. They never got back to me. I can't believe I paid over $100 buck for this frustration.

not good product
I am using this garbage product since 1997, it was good for while, but this is almost 10 years I never been able to update it, and always I had and I have problems with this garbage product, and I don't recommend it to any one .

I hate the fact that others have submitted their taxes and I'm being told to wait for an update. Turbo Tax made it seem like it's a problem with the CRA whereas I know other people who have already done their taxes and have not faced a similar problem. What could possibly be wrong with Turbo Tax? The worst part of this story is that my taxes have nothing to do with schedule 3.
