Not worth it
Honestly you can use the free software offered by the CRA and its easier than this, I got more links to spend additional money on their software than actual help. The CRA usually finds more tax deductions for me than this software does.

Can't carry forward historical data year-to-year
Did not realize that you can't import/export your data year to year from TurboTax online and desktop versions. Moving to either, is starting at zero.

Poor experience with Turbotax
The program did not compute my sale and purchase of an automobile correctly. When I called TurboTax, I received no support unless I paid for their service. I had to refile my return speaks of them.

I've been let down.
I was attracted to the "data transfer" feature from QuickBooks to QuickTax, and later to TurboTax. This feature has not worked for the last two years. Intuit technical staff have not been able to repair.
Also, I've been expecting a refund for a copy of TurboTax 2021 that I purchased in an attempt to resolve the data transfer problem.

no support
purchaced downloaded version of home and business and attempted to download it to a new windows 11 laptop. unable to open and finally found a support number. was told that i should download to another computer . they could not figure out why it would not open. totally unacceptable response . Had to load to my windows 10 desktop to get it to work.

not worth the money
I had a very hard time entering information and I had so enter the same info numerous times. I couldn't download CRA info and that messed the entire process up. Supposed to be small business but nowhere could I enter fuel costs, home write-offs etc. Don't waste your time - if you need more then basic turbotax save yourself the grief and get an accountant.

Let down by customer support
Turbo-tax desktop will not transfer tax data from QuickBooks desktop even when it is advertised to do so, and, these two Intuit products have done this feature for over twenty years of use. I have over thirty saved received emails from Turbo-tax customer service to indicate how many opportunities I have given Intuit to resolve this issue. It is not resolved.

Turbo tax stops sending the finished tax forms
Turbo Tax sucks. It is stopping sending the completed tax forms to CRA through efiling System. I cannot find any mistakes nor any irregularity.

rental statement section has issues
Issues with Rental statements. I have used Turbo tax for years and never had an issue. this year the rental statement is possessed. I have had to delete and restart over many times and i am still having issues. Not sure who to call, i tried to book someone on line but it didn't allow me too.

Can this take any longer?
Took longer to install the software than to complete the returns.
Used CD method again since we had problems in prior years starting the new return with prior years return when using "online" version.
Had to research deductions elsewhere since software didn't prompt me for deductions claimed in prior year. Not findable in "help" function.

Despite being advertised to the contrary,this product is not much better than the Basic version. The T5013 form does not allow for entry of income earned from a multitude of provinces, but rather only your province of residence and Quebec. Partnership income is often earned from many provinces, so this circumstance is by no means a complex one, and the Turbotax software could be readily enhanced to accommodate this situation.

2020 version sucked

Worst nightmare ever

Gets worst every year
Every year there is less and less good help available throughout the software. The navigation between forms is non existent. One has to always choose the form in the form list to return to the previous form. One has to figure out with the CRA or Quebec Gouvernement website what the lines in the form mean and how to fill them. This software is no longer meeting the needs of people who want to do their taxes on their own. It seems that any detailed help is being forwarded to a billable service. If I would have wanted to have an accountant do my taxes I would not have bought the software. I will not buy it again after using Turbo Tax for over 15 years. Turbo Tax has failed big time!

Frustrating Experience
Working with Turbo Tax Home & Business has to be the most frustrating software program I've ever experienced! I was online with a representative for 3 hours trying to resolve a problem with the program not allowing me to information. It takes you to a point, makes a statement, and doesn't allow you or offer any way to edit the info. I'll never use this program again!

no proper warning
I use this software for quite a while, never get any problem till last yr, I got RRSP over contribute and I was surprise as I have not get any warning say you have excess limit and over contribute based on the notices assessment. The tech support can only tell you this is product related she does not know! what is your feling?!

Cool Purchase
Was a cool purchase until i paid for the Audit protection. Thought that it would be used as I recently submitted my Return, but unfortunately the app was asking me to pay for it again. Therefore I submitted my report with no Audit Protection even tho I have paid for it plus Largest product package you guys have to offer. Slightly disappointed, overall tho app was great too use. Will be using it again but hoping for improvements. Thank you.

FRUSTRATED
I purchased turbo tax for many years. The errors in the past few years have driven me crazy. I had to complete my return several times and it lost my return and I had to start all over 5 times this year. I will not be using it again as even after assistance from Turbo tax and paying over $120.00 for this program to assist me in filing online, I still had to print off and mail my return. I will not be using Turbo Tax next year.
