Vey easy to use. However transferring my kid tuition was not easy. Overall, I will recommend it over any accountant unless you have a complex tax situation.

I live in Ontario but work in Quebec. Every year, I have the same issue. I automatically download the available slips. I then go on to take care of the rest of it. Then I see that I owe massive taxes. I say "what?!!" and I panic. Then I realize that the system never asked me about my Releve 1. Then I have to figure out what exactly I'm supposed to do. Maybe people who do their taxes once a week remember what they're supposed to do. But I only do my taxes once a year and I cannot remember. It always takes me 30 minutes of frustration to work out that I have click that I want to enter the T4 information manually, then go down and enter that key piece of information from Box E of the Releve 1.
They need to make it easier to deal with this. If only they would put in something like the following question?
"Do you work in Quebec but live in another province?"
And then, if the response is "Yes", say
"Please enter the amount from Box E of your Releve 1 here ______"

Have been a customer with Turbotax for years and have been happy with the product overall. Unfortunately, this year I wasn’t able to use the base product I’ve happily used in each prior year. Apparently the little bit of money I made in investment income triggered a requirement for an upgrade. Not a big increase in overall $$ but it’s the reasoning behind the requirement as it relates to my tax circumstances.

Turbo tax is easy to use. My one criticism is that it was very hard to find a telephone number to call when help is needed!

Generally good tool. I had a small dividend and had to upgrade this tool at twice the base cost to process the small tax details. That was excessive. With my wife's return always zero, there should be a discount for that. Overall detailed tool that gets it done.

We found that it duplicated certain processes over and over. This was annoying especially when you wanted to move on. There were also issues with pulling Express Notices of Assessment from CRA. Once the first NOA was accessed, it would go to the same CRA page but would not allow you to update the user name etc. for the second one. This caused a problem in trying to get it off the system. Otherwise, it worked and we were able to file within a couple of hours of starting the process.(that was the total time; we actually waited to do another review before e-filing)

I have been using Turbotax for years . Always could use the cheaper program but this year because of a T3 I needed to use the Premier program . I did not even make $50.00 on this T3 .. sure hope you will change this for next year

Fairly straight forward to use. I would use again next year. My only complaint/suggestion is that the guidance on how to handle foreign RSU (Restricted Stock Unit) grants from your employer, vesting over multiple years was unclear (e.g. how/when/valuation to include on T1135 Foreign Income Verification, FX, Gain/Loss).

Good software but if you have a large number of T5008 forms it will give you an error when you try to download the slip data from CRA My Account. Then you have to enter all slip information manually. Fixing this would be helpful to users like me.

We have used this software for years, however every year we are frustrated when we reach a checkout page. There is always some add on that we did not order or check off. We then end up on the phone with a customer rep for a considerable amount of time to remove these charges. This is unnecessary. Please improve this component.

The addition of work from home due to covid caused some confusion- I already worked from home so ticked no but had to click yes in order for my expenses to calculate into my return. Maybe add another box for work from home non covid related

I really liked using this version, but it won't let you see how everything is calculated until the very end after you file, then it gives you the print out showing where the dollar amounts go. I would prefer to be able to see how things are calculated, if I want to, BEFORE I file my tax return.

Perhaps I'm just unobservant but I only realized that Turbo Tax Online does not offer multiple returns, only the downloaded version offers that. After filing one return Online using the $34.99 Premier Version I attempted to do a friends, realizing only when I was ready to file his that the online version doesn't offer up to 8 returns with the Premier version, that's only if you download the program. Hopefully others read this and don't make my mistake!

The program itself is great. Very easy to use and helpful with the suggestions. Been using TurboTax for 15 years now. Love it. But for some silly reason, they put pop-up survey requests on every other page, which is REALLY annoying. Save the survey request for the end, and it would be perfect.
