Our 5th year of using Turbo
We find that some of the wording is complicated and hard to find answers in the moment.Overall very good.We don;t appreciate the advertising that sneaks in periodically and generates come confusion.

You have to be very careful.
For some reason the program decided where I had paid a medical premium and it was incorrect. I had to go back and put the amount with the medical expenses making sure that I zeroed the amount in the premium page.

good tax SW
overall fairly easy to use tax software, but it asks alot of questions and sometimes overdoes it on the details. Overall will continue to use, but would recommend a bit less complexity

Minor Glitch on Yr/Yr Comparison
The overall program is extremely intuitive. I have not yet completed our 2012 returns, but I do notice one minor "on screen" issue. When reviewing the year over year comparison my husbands name appears on the header sheet for both of our year over year returns, even though one set of information is his and one is mine. Can you correct this. I will complete a more detailed review when I have finalized my return.

Turbotax So easy

It leads you through
I have used Intuit/Turbo Tax for many years and have always loved that it leads you through quite nicely. When I switched to a Mac, it was cumbersome as they only have online software - no downloads - and only let you save your data to their server, not to your computer - so you have to use TT the following year to get the carry-over amounts etc. This was a problem when our kids grew up and wanted to start filing their returns their way. Otherwise it is simple and inexpensive and handles small business and rental income easily. Just be sure to track your expenses using the TT categories so they can be easily entered into the screen provided.

Rental Expenses Calculation
It would be helpful if there was a calculation page for rental expenses. i.e., you could enter the total amount of the expense and choose if this is 100% expense for suite or a percentage (I use 28% for my suite). It would save me a lot of time.

iPad user
I use an iPad for everything but found that I could not down load the tax file and save it. Maybe I did something wrong but I know I had to put all the info onto my home computer to be able to net file my return.

Good value for the money
This is the first time i ever used Turbo Tax. I found it a little difficult to use at first. However the support system, both by Chat and live call were handled very well, with the people at Turbo Tax. Their advise and support was excellent.
I plan to use Turbo Tax from now on, and I recommend it highly.

MAC online version
I have used "Quick Tax" for 10 years...so I thought I would be pleased with "turbo tax".
While I found the Mac online version very user friendly I would prefer to download the program and use on my computer instead.
The logging in every time was a pain. Especially if you are doing more than one return.
Not sure i will use Turbo tax next year if this option is not available to me.

Hmmmm,
It wasn't as simple as I thought it would be. I kept getting logged off as I was figuring out totals and then entering them. When I would log in I would lose a page or two of previously entered data. Grrrr...

Stress too much

Quick, Thorough and Easy
Very user friendly. Does most of the work for you and you don't need to be up on all the tax changes yourself, but you should upgrade when TurboTax makes a recommendation to do so, to ensure that you don't overlook anything relevant to your situation. I've been using it for several years.
My only complaint would be that, because I waited until April 30 to complete my taxes online this year, the website was very busy with other late filers like myself, and it took three hours before I could get on again. Understandable, but inconvenient and frustrating nonetheless. Overall a great product that I will continue to use in years to come.

Very handy and easy to use tool to file your tax return. Number format (2,000.00) was not kept all the time and some errors might be made if you dont pay attantion to it and review it? Probably needs to be improoved? Boris
