What Happened?
Lots of bugs this year. Almost lost all my data when using "Back" button. So-called Easy-Navigation function not visible or available. Entry fields different from previous years, requiring extra calculations. Copy of filed return includes tons of redundant pages -- too numerous to print.

charged twice
I found I couldn't review my file. I had to re enter everything a second time and then it looked like I filed twice.
I filed early, before netfile was ready, and paid for it. When I went to check on Feb.24 to see if it went through I had to pay a second time.

Didn't submit on first try
I had completed my tax returns on April 13, or at least I thought I had. I even have a copy of the tax returns from when they were submitted on that date. However, months later I am learning that our tax returns were not submitted as I had understood they were. I'm not sure if the system sketched out, or if it becomes difficult to understand. I have just repeated the same process and I'm hoping it's submitted this time. It sucks because I thought we had our taxes in on time, but it turns out they're months late. I probably will not use TurboTax again in the future.

Not as good as windows version
First year using the IOS (on-line) version. It is not intuitive, it is clunky and hard to navigate.
Went back to review my returns to gather some info and "view my return" gives me a blank page. I have used Can Tax, Win Tax and Turbo tax for 20+ years and am most disappointed in this version.

Needs polish in navigation of return
Navigating the different sections of a return, was difficult (eg: try to find the list of donations)
The return review should state that efile cannot be used, before getting to the efile step.

not a lot of help/code didnt work
I had lots of questions that were not answered within the software I had to google, some of the verbiage the software used was confusing. Also the software did not take my activation code so I will now have to take it back to costco and get my money back

Needs more low level access to inputs
There needs to be a way to see the actual filed entries in Schedules and numbered Boxes on the T1 prior to the final review. Sometimes you just need to know what number is going in what Box rather than some entry in a "Wizard".

not as good as before
Did not find doing the 2018 taxes as fluid or user friendly as in previous years. Could not access prior year's data to start this year's file - nor could Intuit's on-line techie after many tries. Not good Will really have to think alot about using this product again.

Will not use in future
Difficult to correct some of the things that are automatically propagated. Ended up having to mail in return because of something that I corrected multiple times, but did not correct.

It's ok
It's ok. Doesn't take into account if slips are in foreign currency so you have to catch and translate. That's a pretty big miss on TurboTax. Program is slow. But overall it works. A bit expensive.

The oler versions were more user friendly
With older versions one could go to any form required. Now you have to ask Help to find out where to report Foreign Capital Gains, etc.

Big Problem
The program always froze my computer whenever I left it alone for 5 minutes. I had to do a hard reboot.(turn the computer off physically)

drop the advertising
I didnt need to see repetitive "open an account with wealthsimple....." or "buy this other intuit product" while I was doing my return. Disappointing that you can't simply take my money for the product I wanted to purchase and leave it at that.

Dissapointed
I have been using turbo tax and Quick tax before it since 2000. This is the first time I tried the online method.
What a disaster!! It seems so limited. I eventually had to send my wife's buy mail and hope that they except both of our returns. I can't see taking the risk of using turbo tax online again and will have to reassess my options as weather I can afford to use turbo tax at all in the future.

not for non tax expert
The software becomes a tool for persons who are very familiar with tax terms and have a lot related knowledge. The online helps are written for those folks. I'm far from an expert and prefer to have some plain explanation.
My T5008 show US$, the software doesn't tell me what to do in this case.
The T5008 I received is a summary, the software is designed for T5008 slips only and I have no idea how to deal with it.

stressful
i bought the download premium for the first time and will never do it again. i am used to being able to read the forms as i go but this was not possible therfore very stressful. i had to spend way toooo much time to do 2 simple returns

Sign on sucks
Your confusion between CD and on-line version is a complete nightmare, confusing and very poorly designed.
Don't appreciate all the pop ups for additional products while I'm concentrating on my tax input.

prefer the CD version
I prefer the CD version for several reasons:
1. I don't like having my information stored on a third party server.
2. I can use the software for more returns.

Could be easier to use
It works. There are a couple of glitches that are just poor programming. Back button does not always work and there is no explanation when it doesn't. While the objective is to make it easy if you forget something navigating back to insert is really difficult.

can tax time be made easy??
I found it not easy to use by myself; so called the 800 help number and spoke with three or four people. All were very helpful. Gloria C. stayed with me the longest and helped me most to get to the end of the return. Thank you Gloria, you are awesome.
I really like that the helper can see the screen and tell you which buttons to push and that they know where to find the information/form you need. My bank did not send me the entire information I needed to fill out the return so that made filling out this form a longer task than necessary.
Overall I wish it was easier to fill in, but I don't have any suggestions.
Thank you for making a hard task as easy as could be.

Online after Downloads
I decided to try the Online version this year after many years of using TurboTax downloaded to my PC. I much prefer the download option. The online version was stressful waiting for each page to load. I have now discovered that this year's tax files will not be able to be imported into the download version next year. That seems very shortsighted that they would not be compatible. I have continued to use TurboTax each year as it is convenient for the software to import the relevant data from last year's return. Now I have lost that convenience because I tried the online version. Not sure if I will use TurboTax next year, definitely not the Online version.

One major omission. The Premier version has no way of adjusting CCA for % of personal use for items purchased for Professional or Business Activities.
Misleading advertising for TurboTax On-Line version, with no mention of extra payment needed for second and subsequent filings.
All in all, not having access to Forms on On-Line version is VERY INCONVENIENT!!!

The support has gone down hill. I paid for premium. I had a question I waited over an hour on hold only to find out I had the wrong department. The help option was not user friendly. I remember the program being easier to use in the past.

Has Limitations
Issues with downloading T slip information. Seems to be limited to approx 30 slips. TurboTax did not mention this why I spoke to them. Problem may be with CRA as well.
