Said you loan on refund yet it didn’t give me an option not only that but says you get refund in 8 weeks, I’ve been waiting on 9000 dollar refund since April 8 crap be going with wealth simple next year!

Hard to revise
I received more information since I filed my taxes. It is literally impossible to reopen the file and make amendments. Turbo Tax Premium keeps showing me the pdf version (that is not revisable).

Poor set up
I have used Turbo Tax for ages. This year for unknown reasons it could not locate my last year's file so I had to manually enter all of the information that is somewhere in the cloud. I also could not connect to My account so had to enter all of that info. Off to a bad start. Also did not include the T5013 in the basic, even though it is a straight forward form so I did have to upgrade, even though I had resisted upgrading until that point (in spite of the constant selling job). Nothing has changed but I seem to prefer previous Turbo Tax products which I would rate much higher.

Disappointed
used program for years. Purchased the usual Deluxe version. Half way through, the program would not advance until the Premier version selected. At the end it would not accept the Deluxe code therefore had to pay for the Premier version in full. Therefore the Deluxe purchase was redundant.

Cumbersome
Preparing a Final return for my husband after his death, tubotax made me pay 2 separate fees for the Final and my own, But it was very inconsistent with questions and requested responses as to whether he was alive or dead. I had to mail the final return and I still don't know if it has been saved in an "original" printed form for sending to CRA.

Forced to upgrade when filing
Used same version of Turbo tax for years. After importing tax data, recommended same version this year. Went through entire return with zero issues. Then when time to file, was forced to upgrade to the premier edition to complete. Talked with Customer Support. Indicated this was new feature this year for Tslip, even though had no effect on my taxes or using software. Just a new feature to file. Never again if this is how they operate now.

Used to be a good option
I have used Turbo Tax for many years. This is the first time I remember them locking certain elements - forcing a program upgrade to use it. This nickel and dime-ing practice has lost my business. For the same price, I can have someone else do my taxes for me!

awfull customer service
Got a Premier pack at Costco and had awfull experience validating the code given in the package. Tried to contact customer service, no hold, awfull service
Got to get on line and pay directly to file my return. Would require to return to costco. They should not sell your products

I used to buy Turbo Tax Deluxe $35 with an activation code to complete 8 returns on a Mac computer. Now I must use Turbo Tax Premier for my family returns and pay $35 for each one regardless of how little is on some. Why is there no Turbo Tax Premier for multiple returns that will work on a MAC COMPUTER?

Filing gets more and more expensive
Pricing on the web version is egregious compared to the price of the downloadable version. Having one MAC at home and one work PC that can't download the downloadable version, it doesn't make any sense that we should pay three times the price for three returns. I've filed via TurboTax the last 5 years at least. Will be looking for an alternative next year.

Disappointed
Last year you were able to go directly to the return and do what you need to do. This was faster for me as I am experienced with taxes. However, for 2022, this option was taken away. You are forced to get bombarded with questions. This is fine if you are not familiar with tax. But for me it was wasting my time. So please provide the option to go direct to the return like you have done over the years. Secondly, Rental property, not all property has a house address. I do a tax return that has raw rural land. No buildings. The location is based on LSD. Turbo Tax did not like the fact that there was no house address. So I had to trick the system in order to proceed. otherwise I could not record Rental income. So please adjust the Rental property address so that it is able to accept LSD locations.

Confusing if transfer Tuition from kid
One field of input asked for info off an AB Schedule 11 of my kid’s return which Turbo Tax prepared - unfortunately Turbotax didn’t include/prepare the Schedule 11 for AB this year so don’t ask for info from something you didn’t provide. (They could have said get from NOA from prev year. Another field of input was not clear on what lines they wanted totalled (again relating to my son’s return). Worst part is I called and was on phone for over 1/2 an hour and at the end of it she still couldn’t answer my 3 questions and said her colleague said I was looking for tax advice which they can’t give. I was not looking for tax advice, just wanted clarification on what to enter and they couldn’t provide that.

Disappointed & Confused
Very frustrating....used TurboTax for a few years but this year very very confusing with the different versions and ways to download the program whether it's by online or disk. Plus the "forced" upgrade was not necessary and it feels like the program was just trying to constantly suck more money out of me as I went along. Seriously looking now for other alternatives for a tax program.

needs work
Needs work for foreign residents, also a notification that you are not eligible for netfile when you tick something that excludes you so you know earlier. Cannot add foreign address for you address or payment addresses. Needs work.

A few Problems this year compared to past years.
Compared to past years and to TurboTax download:
* The RRSP calculator is not great. The old calculator was more user friendly and offered an option to look at alternatives including carrying forward some RRSP amounts.
* Cannot locate the blue tax forms and therefore cannot alter the forms or see them until after filing when it is too late to change anything. This will also make younger people completely ignorant of what a tax return actually looks like.
*Could not locate information on the "find" feature very easily compared to past years.
*I tried removing adult children as dependents because they are completely independent, but TurboTax will not allow that. Why do we have to fill out the taxable income of adult children who are healthy, working or going to Uni and claim all of their Uni credits? A parent of independent adult children cannot compete their taxes until their adult children have completed theirs. What if an adult child does not want to share that information?

I cannot print
My husband passed away so I cannot netfile his final return, I have to mail it. Is there some secret to printing the copy for mailing to CRA. All I can get is a pdf copy

Not Best Purchase
Turbotax is a fine product, but with no changes in my tax situation this year, I was about 75% done completing my taxes, when I was forced to upgrade to Premier, because I was not informed 'Deluxe' was a downgrade from the previous years 'Standard',(same cost though), which doubled my cost to file my taxes this year

Won't use anymore
I'm switching after this year and no longer using it. The price has gone up. More importantly though, needing to file one T4PS for a tiny amount of money forced us into premier and doubled the cost. If I hadn't already had my wife enter in all her info I would have switched this year.

Frustrated
Sorry but I'm very disappointed in the product this year. The price has gone up ridiculously for a basic tax return and I'm a little old lady on a pension trying to get through my twilight years on minimal savings I've worked hard to obtain. Mirza was helpful when I contacted for help on my tax return but I understand he's an employee so his hands were tied when I wanted just he basic return and not an upgrade bah!

Not the Best Experience
Way too many issues using TurboTax because of all their attempts to UPSALE. Could not complete my return unless UPGRADED, I had to contact Tech Support which was more than a little unnerving as I had share my computer with Tech Support, she had her own mouse curser with which she moved around the screen and telling me to "Open this or Close that". With all the issues in the World today with "Hacking and Cyberattacks".

Forced upgrade
I was forced to upgrade the version of TurboTax even though my circumstances were the same as last year. Upgrade was also invoked on my spouse who has a VERY simple tax return. Not impressed.

Annoyed
Forcing an upgrade for filing $1 in trust income from savings for a grandchild is absurd. I'll look for a better, more flexible, option next year. Also the consistent pitch to upgrade and the advertising for things like Mint isn't professional.

Great software. Bad business model.
I have been using for years and very satisfied of the software. This year I chose Premium by mistake and when I tried to change it to Deluxe which I used for years, it would not let me. Support says the only way is to start a new report all over again. This is unacceptable. I ended up paying for the useless upgrade just to not redo my whole taxes again. My bank also gave me a 20% code but could not apply it since my tax report was already started. Great software, crappy business practice.
