you claim that this very easy, well maybe if you use these kind of programs but if you only use once a year it doesn't flow very well.
it used to be easier when you had the forms listed on the side menu and you could click on the appropriate one and enter the information

CRA didn't link for partner again
- The UI is worse this year
- It occasionally did both partners information but skipped big entries like salary for one, prompting to file without it causing us to manually trigger the process
- It again would not connect to partners CRA, forcing manual T4 entry
- over priced and too many upgrade prompts, will be looking at alternatives

A Step Back
This years version of Turbo tax was horrible, so much more confusing, missing steps to enter information about my wife, very confusing to navigate. I've always been impressed with TurboTax in previous years but this was an awful and frustrating experience.

Joint tax return
I am unable to do a joint income tax as my turbo tax will not download both persons income tax information from the CRA. I am forced to file separately. Please fix or I will find other tax filer next year.
This used to be a great product.

Doesn’t work
Kept giving an error message when no error. 2 hours with tech support and they said sorry try to apply for refund. Refund is hard to get too.

TT failure this year
T3 form was not working for months and constant promises to fix which were not kept. Finally resolved but will look to move to WealthSimple next year.

Easy to use but expensive
Very expensive to add simple forms. For example, I had a T008 (investment income) of under $1 but had to pay for Premier account to be able to file it.

Hate all the changes
I have been using Turbo Tax 10+ yrs I hate that online was the only option this year. I use to buy a CD and could file up to 8 returns for $40 now I paid $40 for just 1 return. It took me over 3 days just to get into my account as my phone number changed. Then I could not transfer my 2023 data into the new return and had to enter all the data in manually. Hated not having the ability to enter information in by tax slips and accessing the forms when I wanted to. What happened to The RRSP optimizer? I will not be using Turbo Tax in the future.

Bring back CD version
Hated online version, took over an hour to fund the correct page to enter activation code. Did not ask to transfer information from 2023. Had to re-enter everything manually. Does not open a return in progress reliably, kept wanting to start a new return, Lots of trial and error learning. Big glitch with T3 box 21, 52 and 53. In inexcusible that this was not spotted and fixed along time ago. Error message when entered amounts are correct, keeps saying to fix and will not allow netfile. MAJOR FRUSTRATION. Had to search in line for fixes by other users

I hate turbotax
The government is already aware of our tax status for 99% of filers. We should be given a pre-filled return that we accept that is free and should only need services like Turbotax in the event our taxes are complicated.

Frustrating
Many options were not available until several times that i tried using them. Helpdesk was useless in trouble shooting. Cannot see actual forms until late in the process.

This year I found using turbo tax to be very glitchy. Often I found when inputting my T4s, the system was suggesting I was putting in my wife's name. It also crashed a number of times, bringing me back to the beginning. Worst year in awhile using this software.

Error with T3 capital gains
There were issues with T3:
I kept receiving error message that both 52 and 53 did not add up to the correct total in 26 (I think it was 26). This was an auto pull from CRA. After the 3rd time of trying, I deleted the T3 and started a new one manually. I entered the numbers into box 52 and 53 and I received the same error message. The other complexity is that there are 2 box 52s and 2 box 53s. I tried entering all into each boxes and received the same error message. I called for help, and the gentleman told me to just remove total from 52 and put the full total into 53. This decreased my return by a couple of hundred dollars. BUT it removed the error. I am now not sure what my total return should have been. PLEASE triple check your software for quality control. It is not working for capital ;gains this year and you have put many many customers at risk of not receiving a correct tax return. I will be manually creating a paper tax form to triple check as I not longer trust your software. I have been using it for many years, but will probably not use it again in the future. I NOW DON'T TRUST IT.

FIX YOUR BUGS.
DON'T INCLUDE DUPLICATE OF THE SAME BOXES.
You have lost a loyal customer

Problems with Capital Gains
Import and auto-fill from CRA to forms, get an addition error that Box 52 and Box 53 do not add up to Box 21. There is nothing to change as the correct data is there, it was auto-filled, and it all works until NetFiling, which will not send due to an error that isn't an error.
Frustrating, the reason I use TurboTax is for me, to be able to e-file. E-filing should be free in my opinion.

I have used this program, or incarnations of it, for well over a decade. Used to be simple and helpful, but not anymore. Take it back to what it was, or I'll have to find another.

Not Great!
There's something about the interface of the "online" edition that I just don't like but can't quite wrap my head around. It's not as easy to navigate/use as the previous "installed" versions. I'm used to the wizard that helps you through the process, and the buttons that allow you to go back to various sections to correct information as needed. I was able to accomplish my task this year, but it was at a minimum 3 times harder than it usually has been.

I get charged fourty bucks pluss taxes for what,only to have my money taken and constantly told that there are errors only to find that there were no errors,and them prompting me to buy the most expensive product to rectify the errors that werent really errors.Great scam.

Disgruntled
Software can't even add 2 numbers together from Boxes 52 & 53 on a T3 that DID add up to the Capital Gains number! As a result of that, it wasn't possible to Netfile. Next year i'm switching to a different tax software system.

Worst program ever
I've just spent an hour trying to view a 2023 completed tax return. All I could get to was a circular link that sent me round and round a few different pages, none of which let me access my completed 2023 tax return. I just want to print a page out of it! I've been through the Return Manager 4 times. This isn't the only time I've found circular references in Turbotax. I've used the program for years and it gets worse every year. I'm a qualified professionally trained tax preparer, retired.
