Hate The Product
Brought turbo tax at Costco and had nothing but issues with registering it. Followed the instruction that were provide and there was no where to enter the activation code!! So I went through the program thinking I had to enter it at the end but no the program said I had to pay. I tried to register again but was unable to. Had my university and PHD daughter look at it and she found the same issues. This program was great to use when it was an app that you could down load but not now. Will not be using this program again!!!

Stick with the CD version
The CD version of this tax software is far superior to the on-line version. I had to reach out to the support group many times doing our taxes this year. I did not find this version intuitive and the help function was terrible

Bait and Switch sales tactic applied by Turbotax
This has been an absolutely brutal experience working with turbotax. I do not recommend this product. You can't view the CRA tax forms to ensure the software is filing your return correctly. Turbotax employs a bait and switch sales tactic promoting the deluxe version for personal income tax returns however, it then automatically upgrades you to the premier version, without notice. The deluxe product packaging does not indicate any limitations for filing personal returns. I am so angry and will never use this product again!!! Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere!

Terrible program
This program is a money grab. I used to be able to buy the regular one (bought for about 20 years) but last year Turbotax made me purchase the premier version because i have investments. Rip off central.
It's not easy to use and annoying when trying to net file. It kept asking for my credit card information when I already bought the kit which contains 12 returns. I asked a question online and then was told I couldn't file using the kit that I purchased so I had to redo my taxes again. Stupid. If you are going to charge for asking questions, indicate that on the program.

Very bad experience
Everything was fine until it came time to file my taxes using Netfile. It worked for CRA but not for Revenue Quebec because of a glitch in the TurboTax system. It told me I had indicated that one of the conditions applied to me when I very clearly indicated that they did not. I tried multiple times and it still didn't work.

Continual Cash Grab
Horrible customer experience. Constantly being prodded to upgrade and pay more $$$$. If you need more money, just raise the price of your product. I should not have to pay an upgrade fee simply to talk to a live person to get an explanation of why my invoice was for $90 instead of the $80 I agreed to after I had to upgrade from $40 package simply because I had a T4-A slip. Again....a horrible customer experience. I would still appreciate the call-back on the invoice amount (unless I will be charged for that as well)

Go back to previous years formats

Piece of garbage
I used Turbo tax. Filed my return, and other years I could view a copy of my return. Now I am informed that a copy will be kept for 7 years on their ????. I would like a copy of my tax return, but that is no longer possible. I will never use this Tax software again!

Loath doing taxes with Turbo
At first it said it was $40.00 and at the end was $45.00. With that price why are we getting upgrade adds every other page. I loath the email spam every day as well. Never been able to take advantage of any coupons offers. It works but basically a profit machine with no regard for customer satisfaction.

Awful experience
I don't think anyone will read this, but the experience of using this product is awful. I'm pretty sure the complexity of this software doesn't come from the complexity of Income Taxes, but comes from a desire from TurboTax to hide quick fixes (like the possibility to remove form) so you will have to ask for help (therefor pay for it).
The French translation of the product is bad.
The intrusive adds every page feel awful.
I DO NOT RECOMMAND THIS PRODUCT. FIND ANOTHER ONE.

Bad User experience and erraneous
Multiple mandatory fields once filled up, have view issue. If you come back to the page, they don't get displayed with your chosen option. Filed tax as a couple, and spent almost a day to fix CRA login issue from turbo tax, it will always retrieve info from the first account that was logged in, and asks you to clear cache multiple times and do multiple things to proceed, all takes 100s of attempts before eventually working out.

Payment Issue
Every year I have an issue with payment. This year I was forced to select the Premier product when all I needed was Deluxe. I was given no option to adjust it and was forced to pay $90 for two returns. I really hope a competitor out innovates the product and replaces it in the market.

Charged full price - 20% off did not work
I clicked on the 20% off offer in my scotiabank account which brought me to the customized scotiabank/turbotax 20% off page
and it was supposed to cost $32 with 20% off for premiere. Yet, it forced $40 when it came to paying and I was not able to get the discount. A scam.
