I need to review with my wife her tax file before sending.
Your program does not make it easy or helpful to print file before transmitting.
I would not use again unless I know it is possible to print for a review before sending.
I WOULD LIKE A RESPONSE FORM TURBO TAX

Can Not Import to Desktop
If you are looking for a simple way to file taxes, then this is a good walkthough.
Anyone needing Premier or better, normally you want access to the Forms directly for review and adjustments... this is not possible with the online version. Not only that, but you can not save your TurboTax File!!! So when you make a mental note to not use the online version again, the next year you are stuck starting from scratch!.. you won't be able to import from online.
Online can import form online
Online can import from desktop
Desktop can import from desktop
but DESKTOP CAN NOT IMPORT FROM ONLINE!
Don't make the mistake, don't use the online version!

Full of Bugs for non resident
OMG... it "forgot entries" which I had to re-enter repeatedly, then forgot I was a non-resident and gave me "since you are a resident your taxes have to align to your income"; then worst of all, I had incorrectly entered (and saved) a dividend, then tried to edit it to the correct one, and it added the two together (even though there was only one entry); I tried deleting, starting over and to my horror it kept the original (higher dividend)... I never could correct it so my return is filed with a higher dividend than I actually had... NEVER again... Took me 3 times longer than it should have and I just gave up.

Do not like
I do not like this version of the Turbo Tax. I have used the program for years. This is the first time I had used the mac version. I don't know if that is the difference or Turbo Tax just changed versions.

Frustrating support
I had a very difficult time managing my capital gains and losses within TurboTax Premier. I had many questions and called the support team and also used online chat. Both services did not help me in solving my problems. Very frustrating service. They would simply read to me what is on the screen instead of answering my questions and digging deeper. Will not use TurboTax again.

Getting worse
TurboTax was getting better each year in 2009. But now they get worse.
I was forced to print my return, they do not even tell you the address to mail it to. Sure i can google that, but since I was expecting to netfile, I do not have the address.
Their tax saving tips seam to be lame and fewer than other years.
They have a lot of work to do...

You would have HAD 5 stars but..
This is the second time I downloaded your program though my bank. I went through last year's program without a hitch and was happy to share the good results with one and all.
All went well with this year's return until the download to Netfile section - didn't work... When asked to install an XML expansion pack - it failed... I spoke with my computer tech and his comment - it should have come with the program... was NOT there. Very frustrated because I had to do a paper return instead therefore incurring paper, ink and mailing costs, plus printing the solutions to the problems encountered (I don't do well reading from screens) ... not ideal when trying to keep a small carbon footprint.
I will try again next year with the all improvements and fixes that I and others had encountered (and there were lots especially with the downloading and uploading to Netfiles!! And to boot... adding insult to injuries when the monies are paid without positive results!!)
I also encountered problems trying to view the Netfile demo... would not open even following the directions.
If the improvements occurs next year and I have no problems... You will once again get your 5 stars and high recommendations to my family and friends... as it is... all they will hear are this year's negative experiences.
Thank You... for letting me vent

problems with carry-over from last year
Was unable to carry over last year's info without having hugely inaccurate figures show up on my incomes: phoned help, tried twice. Finally had to do a fresh start with new user id, etc. Seemed ok then, but this has been very frustrating!

I don't see any point of upgrading to Premier
Absolutely no differences in functionality nor refund amount with Premier, might as well save your money to buy a few cups of coffee with just Basic.
