Great Product!
I'm very impressed with this product. I bought it bundled with Quicken which I needed anyway. Very intuitive and way!!! cheaper than an accountant/tax preparer for simple returns.

Not Too Shabby
These guys are making it easier to use the software year after year, especially for those like myself who are accounting challenged. I have to painfully, muddle through the investments portion of the tax return let alone remember how to do it from a year ago, this is where the TurboTax saves me the anguish.
It is a wee bit pricey though for the Premier Edition, especially when you're using only one return out of the twelve they give you. I'd happily give up three quarters of it for a version that's a bit cheaper.
Overall, excellent product, I'm very happy with it.

I purchased this product to compare with my accountant's work. I am considering doing my tax returns in the future and saving the accountant's fee. At this stage I am still waiting for my accountant's work to compare. From what I have seen so far I'll probably thank my accountant but use turbotax in the future.

Best version of Tax software I have used
I was on a foreign assignment for two years and after returning home had my own company for 3 years. During this time my accountant prepared my taxes. I am now in full time retirement and wanted to go back to doing my own taxes. I have used prevoius versions of this tax program in the past and liked how they all operated. After 5 years of not doing my own taxes I find this software very easy to use and answered all of my questions in a clear and accurate mannner.

Very easy to use and navigate
I've been using TurboTax since last year, QuickTax before that, and I highly recommend it. Many years ago I used the professional services of an accountant and the cost of doing tax papers for my family as well as other relatives became quite expensive. I've tried other tax software but TurboTax has proven to be the friendliest. I can try various scenarios in order to get the best results. The tools, such as optimnizers, are excellent. It helps make tax time almost bearable!

GREAT product
I found this year's Turbo Tax so easy to use - that I am afraid that I missed something! So love that I can save and review it all later!
Would like to be able to buy a version of Turbo Tax that allows for investments/rental but for fewer returns and therefore is less expensive....

The only concern I have is that when I say yes to the update question when starting the program there is always an update and it seems to be the same length of time each time. I dont believe it is checking to see if it has already been updated. I believe it is being updated each time with the same update. It may not be but there is no way to tell.
IE now updating to version 2.323 from 2.322. At least you would know it is doing something.

Consistently Good
Been using TurboTax for many years now, and it is consistently easy to use and to work through. I used to do them by hand back in the day and this is by far a better route.
The only complaint I see is investments, there is very little assistance around the investment side.

So Easy
This was my first time filing my return by myself. I picked up turbo-tax premier and everything went well. The software was really easy to use. The downside? It isn't cheap, and you're stuck doing everything yourself. That being said it didn't take very long. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Another year, same great experience
Through the years I have been using the QuickTax (renamed into TurboTax) ... only once did I try a competing product ... it worked in the end, but I returned to the proven QuickTax in year.
