I'm getting used to it.
I found the print very tiny, to the point my husband needed a magnifying glass to review his return. Also it was time-consuming moving around to different areas of the tax return. Are there some jump codes I could use?

Can improve
I have used Turbotax for some years now. Some features this year got me confused. Income appeared where I did not expect to see it.
Form T5013 could be improved for cases where accounts are joined. The percentage box should be added. Input into box 005 should be allowed to have six decimals rather than only two decimals. Since the it only allows 2 decimals the box can be quite useless in many instances.

I am a Dependent
There should be an easy way for my son to import my dependent information easily...he couldn't find it so he has to manually import the federal and provincial numbers of my return. It is not easily identifiable where this is...if the button exists.

Time Saver
Like to see Turbotax make the Online version compatible with the Disc version. Info filled out on my 2021 Online version can not be transferred to the 2022 Disc version, and a comparison of the 2021 and 2022 returns is not available.

Easy to use but be careful of version
Do not make the mistake I did. Accidently bought Premier online. Realized after I had signed in. Cannot change mind as once activated that is it. Online version was already shared. Had to buy Premier download as needed to import last year's data so by a stupid mistake lost money in purchase. .

Too Expensive for Two
Turbo Tax Premier is easy to use. I have been using it for many years. The only complaint that I have that it's too expensive for two people. My spouse and I don't need 12 returns. I wish they could reduce the number of returns and reduce the price.

Contacting Turbo Tax
Great program; however, it is next to impossible for you to contact Turbo Tax.
They do have a Robot but even that is difficult if there is a word in your question that the Robot does not know!
Took me over 4 hours to finally getting them to call me. Emailing was just as bad.

Frustrating help
I needed help when my turbotax program (half way through the process) would not accept my licence code. It was difficult to find a phone number that put me in contact with a tech help. The first person was ignorant, incompetent and definitely not a problem solver. She did not listen well to my explanation, kept repeating the same responses, saying there was nothing she could do and that her hands were tied. She even said that she could not escalate my case. She also talked too fast with a strong accent. In the end (despite me being respectful but persistent) she hung up on me. Then I found another phone number (after extensive research) and that tech. help was amazing. She listened to my explanation carefully, did not interrupt at any point, and understood the first time I explained my problem. She then proceeded to gain a view only of my screen and was able to figure out why I encountered such a problem and competently helped me to solve the problem. She was exceptional in every way. Intuit retained a client because of her!

Good Software Except for Foreign Property
I have found Turbotax easy to install and use except for form T1135 - which only allows for 3 rows in the download version (which many people prefer to use as they don't want their personal financial information stored in the cloud on a server that is likely a prime target for hackers). I understand that there is an online version that does not have this constraint - so being that this is not a CRA constraint, there should be no reason that the download version (which people pay for - and is supposed to handle investments) cannot be fixed.

Almost perfect
I had problems trying to print returns for my file. In both cases where there was a husband and wife, only the wife's return would print. I could not print the husband's return. I looked for an Intuit number to call but could not find one. I should be able to contact Intuit for difficulties with their product.

Too many hiccups with saving TTfiles this year
Suggestion: use the file saving method & file you're already using but offer a backup save to a different folder.
Your Canadian tax program is very good. I'd recommend it to anyone, particularly those who are just starting out doing their own taxes while they are reasonably simple.

Mouse Scrolling Issues
I've used TurboTax for many years and this problems has never been resolved; none of the pages scrolls smoothly, if at all, when using the mouse scroll wheel. It is usually necessary to use the slide bar on the side of the screen to move through a page. Very frustrating.

Easy to Use
With the exception of a few items, turbo tax is visually clean with good prompts throughout. I like that you can start and stop as many times as you choose and can go back and forth between sections easily so do not have to stick to a single line approach. CRA downloads are frustrating - you can't count on all slips appearing with all information so you have to verify that what you have is accurate and complete. I like that I can Netfile from within the product or print if I choose. The product gets better every year and they are still listening to feedback from users so that's good.

T1135 form not really usable
TurboTax is normally a really nice package to use for tax preparation. However, for many years now you can't really use it to prepare a T1135 form as it severely limits the number of line entries you can make and does not allow them to be expanded like other tax prep software does.

Rental Properties: When in co-ownership with spouse, needing to re-enter co-ownership info under each spouse is problematic, also having to re-enter this info when needing to Edit any data on T776.
Medical Expenses: Did not allow user to breakout multiple Medical Receipt (instead must compile into 1 entry)

Good, but some problems
This is basically a good program, but there are a few problems. Form T1135 should allow more than three countries to declare income from (at least if you buy the Premier edition!). Form T5013 is split across multiple pages with the fields not listed in numerical order. It's also a little repetitive if you're using it for a whole family. Why do I have to re-confirm my language and elections Canada options? Why don't they copy that over from last year? Other than those issues, it's reasonably easy to use, and fast to complete returns.

Issue printing
When it came to print our returns (I filed jointly with my wife), I kept getting my return (4x) despite ensuring my wife's radio button being highlighted. Very frustrating and a waste of printer paper (probably 200 sheets!)

Turbo Tax gets the job done again
As I write this review on May 01 2022 just before filing my Mom's taxes I think, I could not have done it without turbotax. The only reason that I gave a 4 star rating is because the program continues to mention things that are not pertinent like RRSP contributions knowing that the return is for a 73 year old. A small price to pay for something that takes you step by step from gathering information to filing electronically.

Ease of toggling
TurboTax should work on improving moving back and forth between pages. Currently, you have to go to TurboTax starting point and scroll through all pages. Also, would be helpful in the detailed tax summaries to be able to drill down to where the amounts are populating from

Turbotax Premier
Great software and easy to use. I have used it for many years. A few minor annoyances this year with the flow of "Easyforms" but easy enough to work around.
Great Tax software for a reasonable price and a good way to keep documentation together.
Purchased Audit Defence for the first time. Hopefully I won't need it.
