Premier version is not worth the extra money
I will use of the standard version next year as I found that the premier version not worth the extra money. Importing of stock names was the only thing it did extra.

Improved program
However, it's hard and slow to open.
Also, for some reason, it took a T5 slip as a T5008 slip thus stopped Netfiel. the slip was for a dividend received.

Complete, but complex
Slow to load; T1 Worksheet is incomplete is missing the old age deduction calculation; T1135 prints with 3 pages of instructions.

Not as good as previous versions
Worked reasonably well but I found it to be more clumsy than previous versions for going between the easy step and forms. There is an issue with linking to CRA to download slips for joint returns. I logged in and downloaded my slips then returned to turbo tax, my CRA session was left open so when I went into my spouses return to download her slips it went in on my CRA session using her SIN and the error message said I was not registered to download her information and turbo tax locked up and I had to restart the program. In past versions of the app it logged out of my CRA session so when I returned I logged into my wife's CRA account to download her slips. The worst issue was there was no quick easy way for me to report the issue to turbo tax so please fix that. This is the first time my rating dropped so low.

Turbo Tax Receipt
I believe the cost of purchasing turbo tax and the additional review costs are tax deductible? If so, then it would make sense to have your wizard automatically insert this expense (or prompt to ask for this expense to be entered). It may also encourage people to pay the extra fee for the review if the wizard also indicated what the after tax cost would be (cost less anticipated deduction).

Great Value and simple to use!
I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I have always used Home, Business or Premiere as we use to have our own business and have had rental properties for many years. I find Turbo Tax very easy to use and it gets better each year. For me, the one area that needs to be improved is CCA under co-ownership. We need the ability to track UCC on asset separately by spouse and to take CCA separately without having to do "overrides". Also I still have never found where to enter the land value my building is on...so that Turbo Tax carries it forward until I sell. Besides this area, the program works great for small business, RRSP's, Rentals, Deductions, helpful hints, etc. I will definitely continue to use Turbo Tax hoping they will improve the area noted:)

T5013 Problems
The input of T5013 information does not allow for joint accounts for partnerships. This % option is not available and you have to calculate each of the fields manually before putting them into TurboTax. In addition the T5013-4 form does not carryover the partnership information and this has to be again added manually. These issues really slow down the process of dealing with Partnerships

Fewer returns at reduced rate
We have used TurboTax Premier for a number of years - 4 returns per annum.
Time to introduce a lesser priced option for a maximum of 6 returns!

A top of the line program except when I reached the end and filed using Netfile. When I pressed the "Print Confirmation #" button the program unexpectedly and uncommand shut down.

What do I put here?
I have been using the product for years. I am happy with it. It comes in useful since I can use it to help my children and grandchildren file their returns.
I am not very Tech Savvy person but I manage to work with it well. I am just afraid it may get too complicated for me later.

Taxes - done!
I was an avid Turbo Tax user for years, last year I let someone sway me into using a different product. Never again!!
This program is quick and easy to use. It is my first time using Premier and it was easy to follow along and plug in the numbers.
As a first time user I did use the assist and review feature. My only beef is that when I clicked on the yes option nothing happened. I was not automatically redirected to a phone number and panicked a bit until I discovered the page came up later in the process. Maybe change that so you get some sort of pop up saying your request was processed or something.

TURBO TAX 2020
I like using the direct method for keying my information by going through Forms to enter my information-this was easy to use. There could be improvement on the T776-Rental form to automatically split the information between partners when 50% of the property was shared. There could be improvement on the line numbers to take you directly to the form instead of you having to access the form by going to FORMS. Otherwise the program was easy to use and of reasonable value.

some boxes missed
Just noted that some boxes of the tax slips are missed when uploaded in. For an example, T5008 foreign source box 13 is not provided. Otherwise, so far so good.

TT is My Preferred Filing Method
TurboTax income tax is my preferred method of filing my tax returns. I have used Turbo Tax for twenty plus years for filing in both Canada and United States for my corporate and personal returns. I have used annually four TT products for filing these returns and believe that TT software provides good value for the money.
