2020 turbo tax experience
We have used this Turbotax program for over 5 years and it gets the job done quite satisfactorily. The easystep method is great BUT we still then review everything before submitting to CRA using the forms too as a method of comparing our join submission.

COULD NOT DOWNLOAD
Have been using this software more than ten years, overall, perfect and VG.
Only this year, after I bought this software again, I could not download it into my computer. I tried to download from the downloaded files, I could not open it. I solved the problem by using my old computer, it worked. But when I reloaded my 2019 software, it did not work again. Frustrated and may try other software next year!

Easy to use
Have used Turbo Tax for the past 4 years. It's like following the bouncing ball, just fill in the appropriate boxes as they come up. It in turn moves the figures into the government forms accordingly. Then you just e-file the results.

Been Purchasing It for Years

Easy Tax Prep
Using Turbo Tax Easy Steps and downloading T-slip details from CRA makes for fast and easy tax preparation. You still need to review to make sure all slips have been included from CRA and add any missing info yourself. And of course you need to gather all of your other documentation such as donation and medical receipts, rent or tax details, etc. I just wish there was an option to buy Turbo Tax Premium software for a single tax return at a price closer to the Basic package. I'm forced to pay almost double to do my single return only because of capital gains and investments.

I found this very easy to use and appreciated being able to download all the tax slips from CRA. When I did have questions, the help line was very good giving clear and concise answers. I will definitely use Turbotax next year

Tax filing made easy

Turbotax is the best
I've used TurboTax for several years now. It's always been easy to use and my filings are always successful. Last year I had occasion to use the audit defence option and again it was easy to access and they were professional, efficient and customer oriented.

Great value for the whole family
Would love to see a iOS version for my Mac and not just an online version. I use my old PC to run just this program each year which is so slow. I Don't like working with an online version and like to save the program and the individual files on a USB. There is extra cost for the online version per file, and is not the same cost as the PC version. Please resolve this for next year as a very loyal and long term customer! Thanks

The easiest way to do your taxes
I have been using turbo tax for the last 7 years and prepare all the tax returns for our family with the product. The easy step interview method prompts are well done and quite intuitive. The product definitely saves a lot of time and hassle compared to manually filing or even having to take all our tax information to an accountant. It is well worth the cost.

Very easy to do multiple returns
I completed 5 income tax returns and it was very easy. All the questions TurboTax asks of you at the very beginning of each return sets you up so that you don't miss a single deduction. Great product! This is my fourth year and I'll use it again when doing my taxes in the future.
