rental income
My wife and I are 50/50 owners of a rental property. When it came to the rental expenses I put 50% in the box that says Personal % assuming they meant the split ownership. This resulted in the calculations being wrong. I had to go to turbotax.ca/support to find the problem. There should have been better instructions .

Makes filing income tax easier
Turbo tax makes filing income tax easier as every year things change. The process of income tax is getting much more complex but the prompts are great to use to make sure all information has been input. The forms seem to change every year and the schedules and item numbers have changed a lot. For several years the schedules have been the same but not anymore. This program is well worth the purchase price. Otherwise, you will need to use an accountant or company like H&R Block. And that will cost you more than the purchase price of Turbo Tax. Just don't forget to print a copy of your file.

Makes it Possible

Best Purchase
Turbo Tax might be a little more difficult for the first year filing but it does get easier each year as you understand the product....I couldn't imagine going back to paper filing....Turbo Tax is easy, fast, accurate, & Filing with the CRA is so fast.....Awesome Product !!

Good tool
It works well. I have been using it for more than 10 years. I would have appreciated that they maintain the automatic renewal system because it was an annoying hassle to renew this year.

Great Value and Software
Very easy to use. I would totally recommend TurboTax to anyone starting to do their taxes. Many years I gave it to an accountant...this year we as a family decided to do all our tax returns ourself. My daughter (18 years old) did her own taxes using this software, I was beside her when she needed clarification, but the software help links were great, she was able to answer most of her own questions and I was their to confirm her understanding. Awesome software!!

This was an exceptional service and Dave was very precise and helpful. It was an exceptionally useful review and we made some required changes while I was online. He explained why each change was needed. Last year I had my taxes done by a CPA and this was better.

Feels Familiar
One thing I like is the interface and order is always the same. This make it "familiar" to me and I am comfortable using it.

Excellent product easy to use. Have used Turbotax for 15 years. My only suggestion is on the splitting pension optimizer tool. The impact of the OAS clawback, should be incorporated into the numbers.

works for me
We have somewhat complex return with rental property, Premium is best product we could find for do it yourself tax returns. I highly recommend, have been using Turbo Tax software since 2009.
