Generally it was easy to follow
except for the questions regarding moving to a different province
it would not let me input the kilometers from Ontario to BC
it wanted a dollar value even though the question asked for km's

Ease of Use
This Product was easy to use. When I had a question there was live chat support available for me to use with no wait time (even though it said a 15 minute wait). I will be using TurboTax to complete my taxes next year and for many years after that. I feel more in control and I feel that I have a much better understanding of my taxes now having input the information myself.
This is especially great if you have multiple slips to file.

Still a bit cumbersome to move around
Overall a pretty easy program to use. I wish the stupid live community banner on the right side could be closed. It's a bit annoying that going to the forms brings you back to the beginning of a section instead of exactly where you were. Not sure why the spousal and dependent income sections can't be populated automatically when multiple returns have been created. I really think the price gap between the basic and premier versions is too big considering that the rental property and capital gains features are so simple. Would really like a local version for Mac. There is no way I'm going to put all of my detailed information on their cloud server. BTW impossible to find the uplevel versions in stores. I had to order online.

It would be a nice feature to automatically have last years return open while working on this years return,
It can be done by having multiple windows open so no big deal.

still have my hair
yearly I spent frustrating hours doing taxes by hand,for the last two years I have used turbo tax and I am more relaxed and confident that they are done correctly. No longer do I fell like ripping my hair out by the roots at tax time.

Tabs and printing
The main thing that I do not like is jumping from one opened form to another. It would be nice to see the forms as tab at the top of the screen. Much easier then clicking the forms or slips button and then searching.
Also when I filed my returns there was no way to print my netfile number (no print button) or summary. Would be nice.

RRSP
RRSP contributions does not easily allow you to claim Jan & Feb of the previous year. I had to add a note to indicate that I claimed this. I had not used the Jan & Feb 2013 contribution on my 2012 return, but saved it to use on my 2013 return.

Worked well
I am a long-time user of Tubo Tax and I am happy to see the improvements over the years.
There is one problem, though that I had: Whenever I am in the 'Forms' and I click on a value just once, it DISAPPEARS! This is surely a glitch and needs looking in to please.

I have been using your company for a number of years now and I find that the forms are hard to read when the figures are entered in the spaces provided for
I may an eye problem, which requires me to enlarge the forms enough to be able verify the figures that I have entered. I am and will always use your product.

Cost of Premier Edition
I personally find the cost of the premier edition to be slightly excessive for the minor addtions to the program. If I can find another program cheaper I will probably get that one.

Works as Advertised
The program works as advertised. I have been using this company`s software for about 13 years without problems. I have been queried only once by the government about my returns, using this software, but the issue was theirs, not the software. I have noticed that the program seems to drag in places as if there are not enough computing resources, but other then that, I am happy with the software. It would be nice if they discounted the higher priced packages once in a while though.

Pension optimizer is poor
Unless I misunderstand I find the pension optimize function pretty lame. It seems like I have to guess WHO and HOW MUCH.
There should be some way to determine the best option and present that as a yes or no option.

Decent Tax Software
I like the detail that the software goes into and the speed at which it processes deductions and expenses etc. The only complaints are not enough spaces on all forms to complete data and not being able to copy and paste.

Saved Us a Strain on our Brains
We've used Quick Tax/TurboTax for years, and have really liked using it.
However....this year we found it a bit more difficult to enter information due to the new format. There might have been better instructions as to what we had to do.
It's a thousand percent better than having to do it the old way....by hand!
We'll continue to use it.
As we get older, we find that we need this easy way of filing our income tax.

The only thing wrong is
That you cannot delete forms that have nothing in them once you have selected the form by mistake.
