Turbo Tax Rocks
I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and have assisted in reviewing the product and suggesting changes. Every year the program is easier to use. It only takes me 2 1/2 hours to prepare both my husband's and my returns. We have employment, pension and investment income, charitable donations, investment expenses and unused capital losses. So, not just a basic return. I highly recommend using Turbo Tax. It takes you step by step through the tax return and suggests saving strategies. It is much cheaper than having an advisor prepare your return, can be filed on line and you can get any refund owing within a week or two.

TurboTax is a 10 for easy
If you need your taxes done without any BS or overpaying an accountant than get TurboTax.
This application is very easy and affordable for every person to use on a yearly basis.

great for small investor/home business
I have used Turbotax and it's predecessor for over 15 years now and it continues to improve and enhance it's small business prowess. I keep my own records of CCA and this software actually helps me stay on track. Manages multiple income streams with ease and that was very useful in 2020 which held several different employment changes :)

After many years disappointed
I had to re register to get my tax return this year unlike previous years where Turbotax automatically sent my new updated return and charged my credit card. No reason given but did receive notice that this would be the case this year. Not happy about that.

Simple to install and use. Provides a "Dummy Mode" asking very simple questions. Constantly checks for recent updates upon every launch. Allows to stop and save to continue at a later time.

A very satisfied long time customer
I've been using TurboTax Canada for many year. I can't imagine ever going back to using printed forms and a calculator. As I recently retired, I needed some new tax forms this year, which loaded automatically. I was also pleasantly surprised when TT asked me consider some tax savings ideas specific to pension income; they worked!

Always easy and accurate
Been using Turbo Tax for years. Switched to a Professional when I thought my taxes were getting complicated. I was wrong (aka lazy).
Am happy to be back with Turbo Tax. It is easy to use, accurate and very good value. It asks the pertinent questions then only makes me fill out what is necessary. If I don't understand something, the HELP reference always has an answer I can understand.

This is a value product
I have used TurboTax for over 19 years now. Every year, it has made it easy for me to file taxes. Easy steps makes it easy for me to understand what I can claim and what I have to report. Being a non-finance person, this has helped me understand my tax obligations and also explore opportunities to save as well.

Tax Preparation Made Easy
I have been using Turbotax/Quicktax for over 25 years. The first time is a bit of a learning curve, especially if you're quite young and do not understand all the tax terms. The program helps you understand all of this with it's numerous drop down explanations.
I now have my Univeristy aged children using it and they are all extremely pleased with the product.
I did experience a frustrating glitch this year: The program kept insisting that I was making a claim which I needed to fix....however, there was nothing for me to remove....I reviewed it 4 times and there was no where that I checked off this claim. I was not allowed to Netfile.
Rather than continually fighting with the software, I purposely made the claim. It found my error...I was able to remove it and was allowed to Netfile as I always have since it was first introduced. I'm not sure why this glitch occurred. It's never happened in my prior 25 years of using this product.

Optimizers
The optimizer tool is useful, but you need to run several iterations before finding the best result. For example, if you switch donations or medical expenses to your partner's claim, you need to go back and redo the pension split as the split will not be optimal after the change.

Turbo Tax
For many years now, I find Turbo Tax the product of my preference to complete my tax return. Other family members also use our product. Some returns are more complicated because of investments, capital gains & they find our product to be of great help. Tax season can be a nightmare as you get older & forget some items but Turbo Tax helps you along. Great product & I can do my returns without stress.

Confidence in accuracy
I have been using Turbo Tax and prior to that Quick Tax for as long as it has existed. I had an accountant do my taxes many years ago and they made an error that Turbo Tax corrected. Since then I have been 100% confident that I can do my taxes and my family's taxes easily and without errors!
