Increase Print Size
The print size on your forms is quite small, and for those with failing eyesight (ie seniors) it would help if the print were larger, or could be magnified during the filing process.

Great Value for the price
It is so nice to be able to do taxes for my family and save everyone bundles of money. Cheaper to do it yourself than pay an accountant. A little accounting knowledge and you are good to go. So much help available online with them if you need it.

Good but needs imporovement.
This is agreat program and is very easy to use. It would be helpful if the user could "drill-down" into forms and details for example by double-clicking on a line or amount.
With this added feature, TurboTAx would be, I believe, the best tax program on the market.

Easy to use. The only problem was with the charitable donation optimizer. It indicated that our donations were being carried forward but they weren't and it wasn't optimal to carry themm forward.

this program is easy for a non-experienced person to file their own tax returns very efficiently by using netfile. this also gives them a fast refund if they have one coming to them. i have recommended this program to my friends and relatives.

Text is too small
My only complaint is that there is no option to increase the fonts size of the text within the program. Turbo tax relies on Windows accessibility features, which aren't great.

Tax filing made easy
I love the Turbo tax program and really appreciate the step by step process.
I have had a problem with the program failing to launch, requiring me to remove all parts of the program, restart my computer and re-install Turbo Tax. The first time this happened your telephone rep walked me through it. Subsequent events I was able to recover myself. I would suggest you check this problem and fix it in future programs.

I have used Quick Tax and now Turbo Tax for many years and find it is easy to use. This year I had a problem which turned out to be a software problem and was helped very fast ,even though at first I was told it was not a software problem.

Could be Better
This product has major flaws compared to the Turbo Tax US product. I encourage Intuit to work hard to make the changes needed to bring this up to five star standards. In particular, if the product shows you a tax saving tip, it should then show you exactly how to implement that tip, rather than sending you to the forms and expecting you to figure out what is necessary.

Non-functional on Windows 11
This software was completely non-functional on Windows 11. I had to install on an older, slower Windows 10 machine. Otherwise, the software operated as usual

turbo tax 2026
I have been using turbo tax for many years. Im using Premier version only because i have a rental property. This version is too expensive for such a simple calculation. Very likely will use something different next year. There is not much support if you really need one. Calculation for foreign pension is very weird.

Premier Very Expensive
Need to adjust the $25000 income level for paid returns in the overall limit of returns to account for inflation. This threshold has not been adjusted in at least 30 years. As well, the cost of $30 for each return over $25000 is very pricey.

Every year there is another glitch somewhere!
Never fails. I have used Turbo Tax for years and while it is useful I run into a glitch of some kind every year. This year I was unable to signup for Audit Defense and splitting retirement income with my spouse was not properly reflected in the program. Nonetheless it does save time and eventually I get it done. Ideal for straight forward simple tax situations.

Program is getting tired - hasn't changes in a number of years. Update/redownload from myaccount would be helpful. If you have too many t008s, data entry is a real chore - the interface doesn't help - you could just get the F/X rates an apply them to US investments. You can also download the transaction date for share sales.

Have you ever heard of Copy and Paste?
Copy and Paste has been a valuable tool in many software applications, except Turbotax.
Considering that certain information, such as medical receipts, often gets entered many times, it would make life so much easier if Cut and Paste was available throughout the entire program, especially where it is needed most. Instead, Intuit has chosen to not make it available for things like entering repeated items, like medical expenses. Makes no sense! Stupid in fact!
I couldn't even copy and paste the comments I made on the initial "tell me what you think" page!

Turbo Tax T3 box 52 and 53
Turbo Tax T3 box 52 and 53 the information in box 52 and 53 shows up on some of the T3 tax slips .Turbo Tax softaware is still looking for this info even when the capital gains tax increase has been changed back to 50% . Take box 21 and divide it by 2 to corredt errors to netfile

Paid double for Premier over Standard - why
This year I had a few stock sales. Paid double for Premier over my usual standard. Not sure it did anything for me at all. No EasyStep for stock sales. Just popped me into a form, failed to propagate data from the Form, and did NOT report the error. TurboTax shou;d refund my cost of this software for 2024, and clearly advertise what exactly Premier does over Standard (as I did not see any difference), unless Standard outright PREVENTS reporting of a Capital Gain (which I could not find the answer to anywhere).

DO IT AT HOME
Sometimes wording is confusing. 2 questions in one. For example, yes I want to sign up or I am not ready to go paperless. How about a section that says I am already signed up. Also, you shouldn't have to pay for shipping and taxes when you purchase audit defense or assist and review. What is being shipped? I had to call you and wait on hold. When you purchase Premier one of these services should be included.

Poor Customer Service
I've filed my taxes with TurboTax for quite a few years now. Now they have an "Assist & Review" add on that you can buy within the application, so I decided to try it. After paying $84 for it I found there was no one available to "assist or review" until after the filing deadline, which is useless to me. So the next morning I called TurboTax Canada for a refund for the Assist and Review add on. They kept me on hold for quite a while only to tell me they won't give me a refund and there's nothing I can do.
I asked to talk to a manager and they said no.
I asked for a call back and they said no.
